Take One Acting Studio — Attraction in South Miami

I’ve been to a few other acting schools before but this one takes the gold! There is so much treasure at this school and the instructor Lisana and the environment make it a place to be able to feel no judgement and to grow. Here is a place where I was able to express myself, experiment, and learn so much about myself. I think as an actor getting to know yourself so well is important and this place fosters it. I can see myself being at this acting school for many years as I am growing in my acting career. I really like the exercises and techniques that the new perspectives give me. Getting in the moment feedback on stylistic choices by the instructor is also a plus side as I am someone who does well with taking feedback, that is something I want and get no problem. It’s not just an acting school, this place is transforming my livelihood. Quality of life is the most important thing shaped by environment. REMEMBER that. I started taking classes at the end of August. At first, I felt unease. I had no experience with acting, but I decided to take classes because I was intrigued by actors I saw in movies and tv shows. I didn’t know how much these classes would change my life. I gain more confidence in my life than any other activities I’ve partaken in them. One of the teachers, Lisana, is one of the nicest and caring human being I’ve ever met before. She teaches with so much passion it motivates me to continue improving my acting skills. She articulates each lessons so simply anyone can learn to act if they put their minds to it. As a student, we’re presented a variety of diverse exercise that cover all the basis and emotions in acting. One would never be left unprepared in any acting job they get if they absorb and utilize take one’s teachings. I have attended both the Tue/Thu Adult acting courses as well as the Wednesday Scene Study classes with Lisana. I am pleasantly surprised and delighted with the great program that Take One has to offer. The program is designed to dive right into the materials and Lisana does an excellent job of navigating the structure and pace of everyone’s individual learning experience.
