Miami EcoAdventures — Attraction in Florida

Excellent program! My son (9 yo) had his first experience with this program at the Bill Sadowski Park in Palmetto Bay for his spring break. He did the fishing camp.

The camp was awesome. It was very affordable considering the quality, activities, and comparative value to other programs around me.

Willy, Peter, Eric and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to make me as a parent feel very safe and comfortable with my son there, and surely made my son feel welcomed.

The long hours are great if needed for working parents, too.

My son came home daily with an information card about his day and what they did, and they even went on a field trip to THE KEYS!

They got to do a private tour at the dolphin research facility down there on the last day of camp. Camp was already awesome, but this extra feature made the $185 for the week TOTALLY WORTH IT. The camp week fee included transportation and entry for the keys trip AND all the other activities during the week.

They did archery, fishing, animal education/encounter, hiking, and more.

We already signed up for summer.

Highly recommend sending your kids to this camp to get outside...

Bill Sadowski camp is the most enriching for all children as they incorporate nature and activities that are most educational overall, not many of the County Parks are offering such programs, involving nature and keeping kids enjoying the outdoors while learning, they also challenge the kids to see, feel and interact with things that may be out of their comfort zone which has helped my son immensely, in addition the staff is amazing and have shown to have the best training when working with children that may present challenges such as mine who has autism. This was an OUTSTANDING experience!!!! I went with my son this morning. Not only did we get exercise on our leisurely bike tour, it was filled with interesting and engaging facts and information about the history and ecological aspects of Crandon Park! Our tour guide from Miami EcoAdventures, (I believe her name was Ally,) was terrific! She had a kind demeanor and gave us a wealth of information that we couldn’t get enough of. No exaggeration.
