Absolutely magnificent (very) hidden gem of a restaurant. No sign is visible from the road, so you're going to need to trust that your GPS has brought you to the correct place and keep an eye out for the Jamaican and Haitian flags that mark the entrance, which is tucked away deep in the far right corner of a nondescript strip mall. It is well worth the hunt, because once you are there you will be treated to welcoming Caribbean hospitality and the finest island-style cooking I have ever had the pleasure to eat.

What I tried: Fall-off-the-bone tender stewed chicken — spiced to perfection and served with a medley of lightly carmelised veggies in a rich and complex broth that wouldn't be out of place on a world-class michelin-starred plate. Black bean sauce that is served as an accompaniment to their expertly-cooked white rice. It's rich, peppery, and frankly — tasty enough to drink straight from the spoon as a soup. Stuffed plantain appetizer. Meat and cabbage stuffed crispy-fried bits of heaven. A spicy citrus sauce cuts the fat from the frying oil and the meat and balances the flavors beautifully. I tried pork and the beef version, and have a slight preference for the pork as it was just a bit juicer.

All in all, I can't say enough to sing Jacmel's praises. For a new restaurant, it certainly seems like whoever they have in the kitchen knows EXACTLY what they are doing.

I live in Fort Myers and plan to ride back out into Lehigh sometime in the near future specifically to eat at this...

today i ordered through uber eats and i got the griot dinner with a side of rice and beans. first, the amount of food you get for the price is amazing. as i said, i ordered through uber eats and the food was still hot upon delivery, reassuring me that my order was fresh from the kitchen! everything had so much flavor. the griot was seasoned beautifully and nice and juicy, NOT dry. the plantains were crisp but not hard. and the rice and beans was so delicious. i had to stop myself from eating pass my full point because it was that good. hands down, the best haitian food in lehigh! this was my first time getting food from here but i will definitely be back. i rarely ever leave a review but this place deserves recognition. if you are unsure, don’t second guess it just order! you won’t...

An Unforgettable Taste of Haiti!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. The service at this Haitian gem restaurant is truly top-notch—attentive, friendly, and full of heart.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor—from the perfectly seasoned griot to the rich, comforting diri kole and pikliz that packs just the right punch. You can tell everything is made with love and tradition.

This restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a cultural experience. If you're looking for incredible Haitian cuisine served with unmatched care and kindness, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back—and...

Once I tried Jacmel’s griot, I knew I had to write a review BUT I couldn’t post it until I did the food Justice and today is that day. This place is amazing. About a year ago, it was a mediocre Jamaican place but once they changed owners, this place got so much better. They’re griot meat is top notch. The fatty pieces are succulent and deserving of praise. They’re black rice is amazingly seasoned and their plantains just rock my world. Everything screams decadent. Well worth the 5 stars. You’ll regret not coming here, I promise Now, here are the photos
