Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Florida

Used to be a driver there. Was let go on my DAY OFF for not answering the phone as I was trying to locate the cremated remains of my father the USPS lost during shipping to Florida from Chicago. Even after showing Elsie, the store manager, why exactly I was occupied ON MY DAY OFF, she continued to tell me she can do whatever she wants. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for and the most disrespectful thing that's ever happened to me in my life. I will absolutely have no problem finding another job, But you have a supervisor fire someone on their day off for tracking a family members cremated ashes, That is completely horrible. I'm a very humble and loving person but that made me very angry. I now see why that store has such a high turnover rate. This store does not know how to do their job. They are all very nice, however they don't know how to read tickets and ensure what's delivered is exactly what I ordered. Anything I customize on my sandwich they don't add and typically miss chips or cookies as well. I'm going to guess I've ordered from this store about 10 times now and out of all of them they only got my order right 3 times. I'm at the point now where I'm sick of calling and complaining. I was also supposed to be given a ten dollar credit to only call to use it and told it didn't exist and that they could now only give me chips and a cookie. I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the slowest and most unorganized Jimmy John's I have ever dealt with. When we order from work, they are always over an hour late and are literally 5 mins down the street from my place of employment. I called just today to get an update on our order, as it is again OVER AN HOUR LATE. The gentleman that I spoke with had the nerve to tell me, everything is out for delivery. So then I asked how long it would be until our food is delivered, he said it will be there shortly. Define Shortly. Very unprofessional. And the money is never refunded either.
