We had 7pm reservations to watch the Sunday night football game. We went to the bar on the right hand side and had a seat. After 5 minutes passed a bartender told us that side would close down after the 4pm Sunday games. She told us since we had reservations to check in at the hostess stand on the other side of the restaurant. We walked up and the hostess was on her phone and could not be bothered to welcome us in. I gave her our reservation info and she said just seat ourselves anywhere. So we made our way to the room with the big TV. No menus nothing. After waiting there for 10 minutes, we asked another waitress if there would be service in there. She told us, No. Then she told us to go to the tiki bar and have a seat. The tvs were small and you had to crane your neck to look up. As we were sitting there a couple asked about the clamp chowder and if it was fresh. The bartender said he didn't know if it was made today or not. What? We played our order with yet another bartender. I ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer and my sister ordered the applewood burger. Both came fairly quickly. Both tasted like they were frozen and reheated dishes. Meh... so instead of staying for the game we just left after waiting another 10 minutes for the check at a...
Read moreOur experience was extremely disappointing. We visited during the 4th of July weekend, expecting a pleasant meal, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The service provided by server Emmy and manager Amanda was awful on all fronts.
Firstly, our food took well over an hour to arrive, which was unacceptable given the moderate crowd. When our orders finally arrived, several items were incorrect, showing a lack of attention to detail. Even worse, our food sat on the table for 10 minutes before I had to go ask for silverware for the table to eat with — a basic necessity that shouldn't be overlooked in any restaurant.
Emmy seemed disinterested and made zero effort to rectify the numerous mistakes. Amanda, the manager on duty, was equally disappointing. Despite me asking for the manager and making her aware of our issues, she failed to proactively manage the situation or offer any meaningful apology or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
Overall, the entire dining experience was marred by poor service, disorganization, and a complete lack of professionalism from both Emmy and Amanda. I would strongly advise against dining here if you value timely service and attention to customer...
Read moreOh, what a pleasant experience. Sat at the bar, great beer and cocktail choices, and a menu that's right on point. Of course, my bartender Shauna was amazing; and her recommendations we're spot on with my desires for an afternoon getaway. The NE Clam Chowder was light but yet creamy and succulent (the corn Chowder add was a surprise to me, but surprisingly went well and did not take away from the Northeastern dish, clams were significantly present and the potatoes were soft and delicate to the taste. Mozzarella app, wow, a nice light melt in your mouth buttery softly breaded mozarella elegantly presented on a bed of slightly spicy marinara and topped with Basil and parmessan (a must have). Finally as per my tastebuds (who were all the way in with me on this adventure) desired that fresh fish on a platter must have before leaving the Fla keys. However, light was on the menu, so we opted for the Shrimp and roasted garlic with white wine sauce and fresh basil over a bed of angel hair pasta; nice, light, delicate, and fullfilling. Gulf view, romantic but yet family friendly with the most beautiful Florida Sunsets. Come after 5 pm and enjoy live music from local bands....
