Kim's Cafe II — Restaurant in Florida

Food was good. Service was good until I paid the bill. When I gave the waitress my card for her to pay my bill she came back and asked if I wanted to add the tip on before she ran the card. She said that they asked all customers is question when they pay with the card. I told her to add a $10 tip on to the card. However once you brought my receipt in the card back to me she laid it down on the table and left. Upon leaving and checking my receipt I realized why she did that. It's because she did not put a $10 tip on the bill she put an $11 tip on the bill. My bill was $37.73 for me and my family. So after the tip it should have been $47.73 however, my receipt shows that is for $48.73. I understand it's only a dollar more but this is being dishonest and I don't appreciate it. So make sure if you stopped here you are paying cash and not a card. I probably would have given this place at least four stars until the waitress screwed up and gave herself more of a tip than what I told her to. There's nothing I hate more in life than a liar and a thief. I realize it's only a dollar but that's besides the point. I will not be going back to this restaurant ever again. I cautioned anyone else that wants to try the place to do so but make sure you take cash. And to the waitress that waited on us today which I cannot remember her name for the life of me I just hope she knows that what goes around...

Kim's Cafe 2 is my new favorite go-to place for breakfast and lunch. My experience started with an amazing bubbly waitress named Sparkles, with a personality that matches. She and her co-worker provided top quality service that created a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of choices that will make your mouth water. The food was ready quickly and came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. As low as the prices are, I was expecting less then fast food sized portions but was I WRONG! They were HUGE! My group ordered a variety of dishes including the Mushroom Swiss Burger, Shrimp Platter, Spanish omelet, Club Sandwich, Blueberry pancakes, chili, and more. The burgers, for lack of a better term, was over half the size of our heads, "colossal" is an understatement for the shrimp, the pancakes were the size of a standard size dinner plate, and I can't even begin to describe the taste other than perfection 😋!

I don't usually write this much in a review, but to leave anything out would be an unjustice to this down home restaurant that is DEFINITELY a cut above the rest. I HIGHLY recommend Kim's Cafe ll to anyone who wants fantastic service, great food, and best of all, still have money left in...

Food was okay, won't be returning for the service. Stopped in for lunch, after eating I sat there for a while just staring and waiting for the waitress to come while she continued to talk to a customer. We made eye contact multiple times and she still wouldn't come over. When she finally came to grab my card she asked for the tip to add it to the machine. I incorrectly 20% tipped one item and forgot the drink as each thing is written out separately and not added together, so i just saw the food price. I typically always do 20%, I worked in a restaurant for 3 years I know the struggle. As soon as I told her the amount her face got angry and she walked off, only to complain about the tip in earshot to another server. Now, she wasn't a very good waitress, but I did go increase it when I realized I didn't add my drink price. It increased her $1.5 tip to $3, more than 20%. But I was publicly embarrassed and felt harassed into doing it, so I won't be returning. I understand being upset over tips, but thats just extremely unprofessional. Maybe you'll have a better...
