La Casa del Chimi — Restaurant in Florida

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting a charming local Dominican restaurant, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. Upon entering, I was immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel as though I were at home, eagerly anticipating a lovingly prepared meal. The hospitality was exceptional; the staff radiated genuine kindness, engaging in delightful conversation that added a personal touch to my visit. Now, onto the food. I can confidently rate it a perfect 10/10. Each dish tasted as if it had been crafted with the same care and affection one would expect from a beloved family member. The flavors were harmonious, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. It truly felt like my mother had prepared the meal herself, infused with love and perfection. My advice to anyone contemplating a visit to this gem of a restaurant is simple: walk in and try anything on the menu. I have no doubt that every offering will leave you equally impressed, as my experience suggests that everything here is worthy of a resounding 10/10. The service lets start there...3rd time tonight going there. Service from the young lady taking making order , by which I mean what order after waiting a whole 45 minutes and paying for $40 in food my order wasnt given to the kitchen. A whole 40 minutes, I was given them the benefit of the doubt but after I saw 2 gentleman who were after me get their HUGE orders I approached the truck and asked nicely " how much longer for my order" and stated my name...she didnt see it and the guy in kitchen looked like deer in head lights. She grabs her pad and said empanadas how many was it ok...we have them It can be another 5 minutes. No apology or anything. Honestly she couldve at least did that and got me cold drink while waited even longer for a order she didn't place. I would feel better about writing this review and also having me wait even longer which wasn't 5 minutes it was 18 minutes. I did think about getting a refund, then that would take even longer and then I would need to find something else to eat before having to work overnight which I didn't want to do.The empanadas were just OK this time, the fries were awful. And the burgers were just OK too....

I ordered two pork chicharrón with plátanos. The meat was unedible, pure grease. When we expressed our concerns with the waitress she said she wouldn't know, that she doesn't eat that. She also said it was how the kitchen sent it and nothing could be done. We left it just how she brought it, she took it back without taking it off our tap. The service was extremely poor aside from that as well, we were a party of five and the other things were ordered and not the greatest!!! They don't realized this is not a third world country ! When I mentioned to the waitress I would complained in internet and share the picture of the junk they brought us, she shrugged her shoulders in "I don't care attitude and demeanor" ! DON'T...
