We've had a million times since moving into the apartments next door. Great price on dinner combos. Tried the cuban, cafe con leche, tostones, sweet plantains, tres leches, coconut flan, cuban sandwich, guava pastry, black beans & white rice, pork, breakfast combo with eggs/ pork (which isnt a typical add in but so glad i did.) Ive sampled my husband's picadillo, carnitas, ropa vieja and pork loin in a white sauce. Ropa vieja & pork are my favorite. Although, every time i opt for pork or a Cuban. I would not get the picadillo or canitas or pork loin in white sauce. I didn't care for the pork in white sauce and the base sauce for the picadillo and canitas taste almost the same to the ropa vieja. Im 100% cuban and those dishes are very distinguishable unlike what they taste like here. I would do the ropa vieja based on that should be the only thing that tastes like that as it should. The coconut flan is AMAZING The cuban is also great Weve done dine in, delivery and carry out. Large portions, friendly staff, clean inside as well. My husband did not like his breakfast at all. He said both the ham and eggs were terrible. He said the only reason why i wouldve eaten my eggs is because i optd to add the pork. I enjoyed both the eggs and potatoes, i typically dont eat eggs so this was a win with the pork. We will definitely continue to keep getting. We definitely prefer la cubanita vs la septima. Its nice to be able to get good cuban food...

We moved to Valrico (edge of Brandon and 20 minutes from Tampa) in September 2018. We came from Ft. Lauderdale & had the best food ,drink & coffee of Miami at our fingertips.

We found many selections at our west coast of Florida but some just didn't have the flavor we craved or flavor at all.

We were So Happy to find La Cubanita ,the true flavor of little Havana in Miami & the coffee that my wife was craving. The in house made pastrys, flan and of the days are phenomenal. Wife is ecstatic and I am pleased again. We found a restaurant where our taste for South Florida style Cuban meals are met with people that could not be any nicer. With me being of Irish heritage and the wife claiming honorary Irishness :) we have found a new home for our off days from snoogers and spuds 😊 . In closing, The Owner couldn't be more accommodating to all our mix n match and always ready to give us a smile & laugh. To the point. I would strongly recommend La Cubanita . Don't skip dessert . The pastrys made fresh in house are to drewl for. Tyler...

DO NOT EAT LUNCH AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! Unless you have major self control! Unfortunately, I do not and my lunch ended with me taking a nap! I basically feel into a Cuban food coma…apparently it IS a real thing. 😁😄 😆Everything looked and smelled amazing and the customer service was top notch also. The lady asked me if I wanted to try anything before I made a decision and she was very informative. If I had to say anything negative… they made the empanada too hot! They are made fresh to order and I HAD to take a bite before I left the parking lot! Sure, I did burn my mouth… but I don’t care and will do it again! 100% worth it! 🤪 $24 total and that included tip. I couldn’t wait to leave a review! I can not wait to introduce my family to this establishment. Pictured: yellow rice with half black and half garbanzo beans, plantains, stew chicken (Monday special)with vegetables and in the containers are marinated pork and the rest of...

After waiting for around 8 minutes with no greetings or please wait we finally got to ordering. I ordered an Alex special and a regular Cuban sandwich. Visually and taste they're basically the same sandwich so I don't know why they would name them differently. The pork is chopped up in big chunks that keep falling out of the sandwich and makes a mess everywhere since the sandwich is also drenched in a sauce. I also ordered croquetas with a empanada, I've never been more disappointed. I don't know if it's a cultural difference since I am Puerto Rican but the empana was so small that its basically the size of a dumpling. The croquetas are about the size of my thumb so like 1 inch and a half, smallest croquetas and empanadas I've ever had.
