Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Florida

I placed an order for this location online and was given 1.5 hours delivery time. At the 1.5 hour mark, still no pizza, so I called the location and they claimed the driver had been to my house, knocked, and no one answered... when I'd been maybe 20 feet from the door the entire time I was waiting for food to arrive. When I told them this couldn't be possible unless the driver went to the wrong address, they refused to acknowledge it was possible they made a mistake. They made no attempt to call at the number I provided with the order, and did not offer any sort of apology.

I didn't have another 1.5 hours to wait for another order, as it was 10:30pm at this point, so I gave up. They claimed my order was cancelled and I shouldn't be charged, but I'm still waiting to see on that one. I didn't get to taste any pizza to provide a review of the food, but if their service and drivers are this bad, I can't imagine the food would be...

I come to this Pizza Hut literally every day, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and made right.

I want to specifically shout out the manager, Val, who is one of the kindest and most professional people I’ve met. She always greets me when I walk in, keeps everything running smoothly, and genuinely cares about both the customers and her team.

On the rare occasion there’s ever a small mistake, it’s already been caught and fixed before I even realize. That kind of service shows how committed they are to getting things right.

I am so disgusted right now! On Saturday I placed an order through the pizza hut app and it was assigned to doordash and it was NEVER delivered! I was refunded the money and given a $25 credit to my pizza hut account. I decided today that I would give them another. The first time I called I was told they do not deliver to my address, I then called again & was told they didn’t have a driver until 5:30PM. I waited & called back, the rep said she didn’t see the credit & would get a supervisor, waited for 20 minutes. I hung up & called back only to be told that besides the $25 credit I needed to order an additional $15 to have my order delivered. I am ONE person, I do not eat that much and why would you give me a credit to then tell me I have to order $15 additional to get my order delivered. This is ridiculous!! Do better...
