Overall my experience was great. If your into great home-style eats, have time and don’t care for frills and glamour, this place is for you. Delicious quality food, made on the spot. I had a stuffed shredded chicken arepa with cheese. The arepa was freshly made from scratch, and tasted amazing! I also ordered a shredded beef Venezuelan empanada, which at first I thought was a bit flat looking.. but tasted amazing! Stuffed with just the right amount of beef and the flatness help give it a crunch at the edges. We also ordered the tequenos. I had never had tequenos as cheesy as these in Miami. It was a great first time here!

I was serviced by two older individuals who I believe are the owners. You can tell they are proud of the quality of their food. And they were very attentive.

The food is good here, not quite sure what style to call it though. Latin American/Colombian/Fusion/Small Plates? From burgers to dogs to burritos to ceviche, empanadas, arepas and tacos: they're all here, but with a twist. Finger lickin good! Perfect for late night munchies or anytime really. Good to go with friends who will share because you'll want to have a little taste of everything!! Some dishes are served on a green banana patacon (NOT plaintain), which is a more delicate taste and crunchier texture. The Techno music and red mood lighting are part of the vibe, modern and eclectic. The service is warm and friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. They have to be, it's pretty unique! I'm sorry to say this place was a disappointment. We decided to go there since it had so many reviews but to be quiet honest, food is OVERPRICED.... Starting with Salchipapas... $9 for fries and 1 small hotdog, barely any served. Also ordered the Burgesa for $9 as well, the slice of tomato was thicker than the meat patty, which was lost inside the bun. Apparently the owners are the old couple working there, I truly appreciate that, I admire them, both were nice but to be quite honest, for what they charge, the food served...
