I was hopeful with all the 5 star reviews on this place. The service was quick that was about it.

There is no a/c inside so sitting outside even though it's almost 100 degrees was cooler then being inside. I ordered the steak bowl with lime cilantro sauce on the side. There was absolutely no flavor to this dish at all, hardly any cilantro just a bowl of lettuce with some flavorless overcooked steak. Honestly I've had chipolte and taco bell with more flavor. I didn't get my sauce and had to go back in to request it. My husband ordered the pork wrap with creamy jalapeƱo sauce, there was no sauce on his wrap. I was willing to go back in again for his sauce but he said no as he was ready to go already. He ended up putting salt & pepper as well as hot sauce (they only had franks red hot so still not getting where the great Latin experience is) try and make it edible. We ordered 2 Modello's and when I went in to grab our food was told he only charged for one, no big deal we'll pay for it but the fact it was ordered with our meal and wasn't charged was another downside because at the time there was a line of people standing there and we just got our food. How everyone says they have flavor is really beyond me because there was none, that coupled with having to go in multiple times for sauces that were missing and pay for a beer we ordered with our meal just made this a one and done spot for us. I really was hoping for a great flavorful experience based on the reviews but that is not at...

We tried this place for the 1st time tonight.

It was a tiny bit hard to find, but it's literally on the corner of Walsingham & Ridge Rd. šŸ‘šŸ» (thanks to the other reviewer who shared directions - they helped!!)!

It's a really cute, quaint restaurant with a lovely little patio. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. I was a little unsure of how/what to order, but they helped & talked me through options, made recommendations, etc. - so kind & patient.

The food was really yummy, & felt relatively healthy compared to a lot of restaurants. It's like a Moe's or Chipotle mixed with a PokƩ Bowl place - but with a Latin twist! Yum!

My rice bowl was amazing! I highly recommend the plantains - wow! The sweet peppers weren't what I expected (more picked cherry peppers?? vs sweet bell peppers), but they went well with the other flavors. The Lime Cilantro sauce is creamy & delicious - hardly any cilantro (which is a + for me!). All fresh & delicious ingredients. Simple, but fun & yummy!

The empanadas were ok, & the yucca cheese bites were really good & indulgent! They had cooled by the time we got them home, but a quick reheat fixed that!

Will definitely be coming back here & highly recommend! It's a great, new flavor that really broadens restaurant options...

UPDATED: Things have definitely changed! 99.9% of the time I get the chalupas and the shells are never the same size and very often lately they are cooked way to much until they're just about burnt. The last couple times I've been the sizing of the chalupa shells were seriously about an inch or so bigger or smaller and when you get the three small chalupas in there to go box, they don't fill the rest of the box up with chips or anything like that, you just have a big box with a lot less food. Always different staff at this location and very often the order is not accurate. I always used to get just the entree whether it was a bowl or the chalupas but now I've been trying a few things to add on every time and from the sauces I asked for, the add-on itself or even for getting salsa a few times, I now have to literally check everything where I never had to do that before. Hope it gets better.

Love the bowls here since they opened and now I am going to try some chalupas. Great lunch or dinner for a MUCH better quick mexican meal than the place most...

Waited 45 minutes for a rice bowl to go. Food is okay- I ordered a steak rice bowl and realized after the fact that it comes with free chips and salsa. There was also a free little container of flan which I’m not sure if they always give that for free or if it was for my wait. Not impressed with the chips and salsa it does not seem to be fresh. Feel like my steak bowl should have had more steak and less rice for the price. Have not tried the flan yet. Fridays customers get a free tamale for spending $10 or more, so I was sure to spend more than 10. The tamale was also eh. Was not informed when I ordered that 1 bowl would take over a half hour & staff did not give me any updates during my wait despite the place being completely empty a few times besides me. Update… flan is not made is house but it is good

Service unsatisfying aka the front desk the lady whom takes the orders was really rude. She doesn’t care and is bad attitude when you ask for one thing. I wanted a side of jalapeƱos she just said ā€œwhatā€ with a bad attitude & proceed to pack my to go and handed me it. I asked her are the jalapeƱos in the bag since she just said what in the first place and never responded to yes or no of an answer just was rude all Togerher. I’d recommend going somewhere else for a good experience than here. Food also used to be so good but I’d deff rate it a 3. Deff not authentic. The meat is very unsatisfying they put way less rice and more meat it was more life a beef bowl not rice. THE BEEF IS LITERALLY SO GROSS DO NOT GET IT ITS MUSHY LIKE WET CAT FOOD so not real or fresh beef. Waiste!!!

We've eaten here a couple of times now and had great meals. They have bowls, wraps (basically burritos), chalupas, and more. They have daily specials. Tonight (a Friday) our order came with a free tamale. We felt like prices are comparable to Chipotle, but food is better. Everything is very fresh and delicious. We had flan for dessert. It was prepackaged from a bakery in Miami, but still very good and only a couple of dollars. Great little locally owned place with friendly staff. They have a few tables inside and picnic tables outside. No view to speak of (there's a carwash in the same lot), but we enjoyed our food. Update (March 2023): Still great food and prices.
