Panay Thai is one of those rare places that feels like a well-kept secret—cozy, authentic, and absolutely full of heart. From the moment you step inside, there’s a sense of warmth that goes beyond the décor. It’s in the welcome, the aromas drifting from the kitchen, and the care behind every dish.
The food? As close to home-cooked as you can get in a restaurant. Every bite is rich with flavor and tradition—nothing feels rushed or mass-produced. You can taste the love and intention in the way it’s prepared. Whether it's a classic Pad Thai, a comforting bowl of curry, or stir-fried basil with just the right kick, each dish feels like something someone would make for you at home, if your home happened to be in Thailand.
The service is just as heartfelt. The people here are so genuinely kind and attentive, it lifts the entire experience. It’s not just about good food (though the food is truly excellent); it’s about being treated with warmth and respect, like you’re a neighbor, not just a customer.
Panay Thai is one of those places that stays with you long after the meal. A place you want to return to—not just to eat, but to feel at home. Totally, totally worth checking out. And if you're lucky enough to be a local, worth returning to again and...
Read moreSmall Thai restaurant in a plaza. Very basic place with a few comfortable booths and a takeout counter. Okay service. The food though, very lacking in balance, flavor and texture. The Tom Kha was lacking in flavor as it seemes to be hot water with a touch of coconut milk. Ginger was tossed in more as a garnish and way too much of it. There was a couple pieces of chicken and not much else to it. Not much flavor and the balance of flavor here was not good, as there was no flavor to balance. The two dinner selections were about the same when it came to the noodle dish and the curry. Both completely lacked any bold flavor as the sauces and spices were watery and bland. The meats and veggies also just did not come together in any way so the dishes lacked texture and the dishes had no balance of flavor. Nothing here from the soup to the curry to the noodle dishes makes a person want to return as bold.flavors, wonderful textures and properly balanced taste can be...
Read moreOur first time at Panai was an instant success, from the warm greeting to the end. The decor is a industrial modern with Thai accents. The food was so tasti. We all ordrred the chicken basil. The Chicken texture with the variety of vegetables complimented by the light sauce was everything you want in this dish. The menu has a lot of Thai dished with a list of Panai house specials. I will be going back to try everything. I was pleased when I placed my order to hold peppers and sugary sauces, the requst was well received and honored by the chef. Being on an anti-inflammatory diet was made easy at this establishment and very much appreciated. Great care and planning was taken to make this a good experience for us. We will go back....
