Tacos are my go to comfort food so being from Tampa I've had a lot of them. I honestly was a little hesitant because the outside doesn't seem like much but when you do walk in you walk into a small, clean shop with mismatched chairs, a hand written whiteboard menu, a big bucket of fresh tortilla chips being bagged and someone cooking your order fresh. When it comes to quesabirria tacos a lot of places make them but not a lot of places make them well. These were 10/10. They were packed full of flavor, just the right amount of cheese and I topped mine with some of their red and green salsas which had just the right amount of kick to add to the wonderful flavor profile. Read moreIn short this place is amazing. The first thing I noticed is how friendly and welcoming the staff is. The food could be less than the best and the staff would be the reason for my return again and again.
The food is authentic and flavorful. The portions are just right, not small but not overly large like some places that overload your meal to the point you can't even figure out what you're eating.
I ordered one of each taco to see how each meat was cooked since some places cook one protein better than another. This wasn't the case as all of the tacos came out the best that I've had.

My tostadas were soaking wet and soggy because of all the amount of beans they put on the base of the tostadas. Literally this was a bean tostada, topped off with meat. Ate what i could with a fork and left the pound of beans that was served. My husbands birria tacos were over cooked ( burnt ) but very savory and was good to enjoy with the broth.
