I would usually give this place 5 stars and I quite often have told people about how great their food is, and it is. BUT, the way I was disrespected by a hostess tonight was unacceptable. If you know me, you know that I am a larger woman, I'm 6 ft tall first of all and overweight, but that's not a reason for someone to be rude. I go to lime Tequila often with girlfriends from church and we always have a nice time. But after the treatment I got tonight I don't think I will go back and definitely will NOT reccomend them to anyone. Every time we go there we sit in a booth, well the hostess took us to a table and I asked if we could have a booth. Her response was "those are too skinny for you". When I asked her what she said, cause I was shocked and thought maybe I heard wrong, she said "you are not skinny enough for the booth, there is not enough room for you to sit there. I told her that I had sat there before and it was fine. Then she repeated her statement about the space being "too skinny" for me to fit. It was humiliating to be talked to like that in front of my friends and the large table of people right next to us heard and were staring in astonishment at her comments also. After we were there for a few minutes another hostess came over to try to make excuses for the first girl, but honestly that was just as insulting if not more so, because it seemed like she was trying to justify the mean comment of the first girl. It was very hurtful and I sincerely hope that they never speak to another person like that again. I have pretty thick skin because I have been heavy most of my life and have had rude people be mean from time to time. So I forgive them for their lack of compassion for other humans, but I do NOT have to patronize their establishment...
Read moreWe went to Lime Tequila about a month ago for the first time. It was great. The food was good, the staff was excellent and the drinks were great. So we decided to go there on Saturday for our "Date night" . Wow what a difference. We were greeted at the door and had our name put on the waiting list. We then went to the bar to have a drink while waiting. While sitting there the hostess came up to the bar and yelled at everyone to check their phones that if they do not responded to the test in 10 minutes their table would be given away, this was done in a very rude way. Then our drinks came... We both ordered vodka martini's I like mine less dirty and he likes it dirty. So he got a full glass and I got a half a glass. The bartender extremely rudely told me that was because of the olive juice in his. I said I had never had this done anywhere before (and the bartender that made the drink is the same one from a few weeks ago that made me an excellent martini). So then my text for our table arrived and I rushed over to be sure we got our table. Once seated the waitress came over quickly and tried to take our order before we even looked at the menu. So we asked for a few minutes she came back in 1 minute. So we ordered. I ordered a ground beef quesadilla. He ordered Chicken something. We waited for over an hour for our food to arrive luckily we had chips and salsa which was very good. So my meal arrives and it is shredded pork Quesadilla... After the long wait for it I did not bother to say anything I just took it home for my puppies I was full on chips anyway. I do not know what happened to this restaurant to go from outstanding food and service to this hot mess. But I doubt I will...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for lunch and overall it wasn't a good experience. The service from our server was exceptional, but our food on the other hand wasn't what you would expect from a genuine Mexican Restraunt. I ordered the Enchilada Lunch Special and the tortilla tasted and looked undercooked and little to no cheese, my wife, who's not of any Spanish decent can make way better Enchilada's than what I was served. My wife order the Aztec Chicken and it was dry unseasoned chicken. When we were finished, what I would believe to be the manager (was wearing a blue buttoned up dress shirt at the time) approached our table and asked if we needed boxes, I politely declined and asked for a to-go cup. He replied with "okay" and after waiting 10 minutes, I never recieved it, I then had to ask another worker for a to-go cup, who brought it within 15 seconds. Also, just a friendly suggestion, don't put the tip suggestions on a reciept that only range from 20%-30%. No one should ever be expected to tip even 20% for cooks who can't cook properly, but also because the minimum suggested tip shouldn't be 20% for lunch, maybe for dinner, if you can serve atleast decent food. The staff my wife and a I interacted with seemed nice besides the manager. It's sad to see what I'm sure once was a good restraunt run down by a bad management team, who clearly don't stay on top of there cooks, which were all not wearing masks.
