Worst customer service experience ever. On 9/5, around 700 PM, we arrived at the drive thru to be told, "One moment". When the voice resumed, it was to say, "You may place your order". At no point was there a proper greeting or warmness given. When my son requested a root beer, he was told in a condescending manner that that they don't sell root beer, only Coke products. Last I checked, Barq's Root Beer is a Coca Cola product, but I digress. We got to the window to pay and the cashier took the money, gave the change and closed the window. Nothing said. We get to the second window, and my son asks for the name of the person who took his order. He was told her name was Meme. When he prompted for her full name, he was told "Shameka, or some s*_!". That really happened. The second employee questioned on why he wanted to know her name, then attempted to prompt Meme, or whatever her name is to come to the window. Nameless order taker, then yells back, "What he look like?” My son then clarifies that he has a wife, and only wanted a name. All the while, I see the manager through the window getting drink orders, but saying nothing. As we pull out of the parking lot, my son calls the store number and speaks to the manager. He begins describing the nameless order taker, first by the name given of Meme, then Shemeka. The manager defensively says we have no one here by that name. My son then describes what she was wearing, a green stripped pullover. The manager, still defensive, says, we don't wear that type of uniform. Can I remind you that we had just pulled out of the parking lot? He seems to remember that someone dressed as described did in fact work there and simmered down to hear the complaint. He did apologize, and stated he would address the issue with her. As I sat back and observed this debacle, I wonder where did the concept of customer service go? I used to shudder at the thought of people being replaced by kiosks and other self-service devices, feeling that the human element is needed. After this experience, I'm thinking perhaps technology for McDonald is the better way to go. You want customer service in fast food; go to...
Read morePeter Noact owner and operator of the MCDONALD'S REFUSED SERVICE TO ME BECAUSE I WAS CAUSING A SCENE THE RESTAURANT, WELL I WOULD SAY REWIND THE TAPE BUT THEY WILL ONLY ERASE IT AS ALOT OF BUSINESS OWNERS DO. THE QUALITY OF THEY'RE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND THE MANAGER ON DUTY @ 4:23pm on the 30th of June is a real liver and ABUSES her authority, BECAUSE she can. The order I made on the 29th of June was totally incorrect and bad for a person's health if not prepared correctly, as the customer requested. I have a child in my care who as well as I need foor prepared a certain way and when I came in with my own cup to receive get water, I was told that she could refuse me service because I was causing a scheme in their establishment, WELL that just goes to show that even some kids needs need to with positions need to be checked but I 'll leave that for a person who is not as mentally stable as I am, even though I have a child that is hungry and has a mother that cannot control other people shortcomings, NOR mispresecptions, I KNOW that this world is full of mentally unstable people, even on the other side of the counter. REFUSING service because someone gets angry for getting a cup of water is not the correct procedure, AND different managers allow different things, but the right to refuse service is a right and should not be given to everyone. THAT should be addressed by the the managers and you should not have to bring you minor child with you to use sympathy as a tool to touch the heart of the UNJUST. A cup of water is a cup of water and hygienes are taught but the discretions to refuse service is a choice GOD HAVE MERCY ON THE HEARTS OF THE JUST AS well as the UNJUST. All kids matter, AND the donations of Peter NOACT IS NO FEAR ACT, DON'T BE AFRAID TO STAND UP TO THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR DECEPTIVE PERSONALITIES. I WILL NOT CHANGE MY APPERANCE DAILY FOR ANYONE, INCLUDING ACTING MANAGERS FOR MCDONALD'S THAT WORKS AT, WITH GULF COAST KIDS HOUSE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. PROTECTED or their angry constituents. YOU too may have a hungry child one day...
Read moreQuite honestly to give a 1 star is to be way too generous....we had a big order that was pretty simple in the details (at least for elementary school educated people). We got our order and a lot of it was right except for the 4 missing cheeseburgers for the two double cheeseburger combos. We were given two that were wrong and two that we never received so we told the lady that took our order we were missing two cheeseburgers and two that were wrong so four in total. Some woman (her name is Crystal-severely over paid and apparently horribly educated because she couldn't do basic addition) comes out with a horrible attitude and proceeded to tell us how we were wrong for the basic fact that "she counted them herself" (apparently she is the first perfect human ever and couldn't possibly make a mistake.... maybe next time she may have to take her shoes and socks off to count past 10 but I digress). We ended up paying for two more plain cheeseburgers because my kids didn't get what they paid for the first time. I'm a manager over my own department and I was on vacation just trying to get lunch for me and my family...if this woman was working for me she would be fired in a heartbeat. Horrible attitude... horrible service....if this is McDonald's service I will not be back. Boycott this McDonald's and...
