Employees were on their phones and talking to eachother instead of doing their jobs and servicing the drive through line. Unacceptable service. Correction, I didn't get any service. Whoever the night shift employees were tonight are completely unproffesional and have no care for customers- So I was in the drive through line at 12 in the morning (there at least 13 cars in line, line wrapped around to the front of the building) and waited 15 minutes- the only time I moved up was when a car left. Since my car was at the end of the line in front of the building, I could clearly see in- all the employees were "hanging out" by the counter and casually talking and sipping on drinks. I couldn't see a single person actually working and there were at least 5 employees. A man even got out of his car and knocked on the window to presumabley ask what the hold up was, and based on his reaction, their answer was not a good one. Wayyyy too casual with an "i don't care" attitude you could CLEARLY see. Obviously they weren't doing their jobs, the line didn't move once in 15 minutes and you could clearly see them doing everything BUT what they're being paid to do. Are we getting paid to waste time and sit in an unmoving line? Are we being reimbursed for the gas we're using to wait for unresponsible employees to MAYBE get around to doing their jobs? No. Whoever was working tonight should get fired in my opinion- not like they'd actually get fired from a job though, since they decided not to do it in the...
Read moreIt was THEE worst! Duty Manager needs to be, at least, retrained in proper store management.
It was embarrassing how clueless the staff was, then I spoke to the manager and it all made sense.
First the drive through signage, at 8:45 AM mind you, still had the lunch/dinner menu displayed.
The associate assigned to answer the drive through, did not respond for several minutes and then only after I yelled, "Hello" several times.
When asked what I wanted, I asked if they were already serving the lunch menu.
"No, were serving breakfast." "Ok then, your signage is lunch menu". "Oh"......long pause...."would you like me to tell me our specials?" "Ok, I'll bit, what are they?"
I guess you had to be there, but after a very short time and a few more "Oh"s, I asked for the manager. Was told to dive up to the Window and I ordered from memory.
The manager came to the window and I explained the issue with the signage. After yet another "Oh", the manager apologized and left the window.
So I get to the serving window and now another completely clueless associate can't read there proctor to ensure my order was correct, just hands me a bag, and says, "Thank you, have a nice day.", then proceed to close the window.
I stopped the individual and asked for my coffee, which was handed to me with an eye roll.
The meal was nothing more the a sausage egg mcmuffin and some very greasy hashbrowns, so greasy the seagulls would have spit them...
Read moreI have just moved here from the Chicago area and have found that food is more expensive. Finding this to be true for McDonald's as well was disappointing. I ordered 3 ice cream cones and 1 Hot Fudge Sundae it wasn't so much the cost but the insufficient amount of product. The first 2 cones made by person #1 were what a cone should be. The 3rd cone made by person #2 was 3/4 amt of ice cream as 1st 2. My grandson asked me why? I had no answer just excepted and took the smaller one for myself The ice cream sundae which had approximately the same amount of incream as the 3rd cone had a small spoon scoop of hot fudge. The sundae had just a little scoop of fudge plopped on top of one side of the sundae cost $1.20 more than the cone with the same amount of ice cream. The manager said she would put 1 more spoon in the Sundae but this is amount served, they only come with one scoop (I WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS DAB A SCOOP). Then I asked for the little bag of nuts that I'm used to getting with my Sundaes in Chicago and was told they do not serve it with peanuts. So again let me point out you are paying $1.20 more than a cone for a little dab of fudge. Also while I was waiting for my Sundae the manager yelled at the employee that was making a cone that she made it too big only 2 swirls not 3 hence the difference in the cones I bought. We brought i grandkids here for a treat. It's sad to see the value of McDonald's products vs...
