Feels like I'm home and in the kitchen with family! The food is delicious and flavorful that is reminiscent of home Latin/Caribbean cooking. It's a good size portion with a little bit of everything that needs to go with a plate. The owner is so warm and friendly that it makes you feel like you're visiting family. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. I got the stew chicken with arroz con gandules, pinto beans and sweet plantains. The sauce was so flavorful. I even ate the sauce from my friend's plate. Oh my goodness! What a hidden gem… Not only is the food super tasty and reasonably priced ..but what kind hearted people!. Apparently it’s a brother and sister who own and operate. I had a little issue trying to get something heavy out of my car into the backseat… Jose, the owner noticed, as I parked right in front of the restaurant and ran out to help without me asking -it’s on the corner of East Colonial and Jamajo Boulevard… You’d probably miss if you’re not...

I’m so glad I found this place! I haven’t found many Dominican restaurants on my side of town and this place hit the spot. I got a Cuban with salami instead of ham and it was delicious. My husband got a chimi. We especially appreciated the amount of tostones we got with our meals. The owner was super nice and made me feel at home. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest...
