My husband and I ordered from the campground. Was told it was $36 for a large pizza with five toppings and a small salad. I was a bit shocked at the price, but we were cold and hungry, and I didn't want to leave our stuff to go through a drive thru. Pizza comes. It's made incorrectly, AND even after I called to request forks be sent because hello, we're camping, the driver shows up and I ask him if there's forks. His response was, oh, I don't know... Well check the freaking bag then!!! I call to inform the pizza was made wrong and about the fork issue and a woman answered. She told me she would have charged me a total of $30 and was going to adjust the charge. Further, for our pizza to be made wrong, I find it appalling that they didn't do more to rectify the situation. When I expressed my feelings, she acted as if I was trying to get something for free. I told her that wasn't the case, but as the customer, to have my order made incorrectly and only be credit the overcharge, was wrong. She did offer to make a new one to send out, but the pizza wasn't inedible, it just wasn't what we asked for, and as a paying customer, I deserve to get what I ordered! Very simple. My husband and I don't live in Homosassa or the area, and pretty sure Pizza Hut and Papa John's would have done more than just adjust the overcharge. A few days went by, I checked my bank account and see the charge wasn't fixed, so I called the restaurant. A woman answers and sounds confused, doesn't know what to do, so she gives the phone to the owner who says he'll call his bank in the morning and get back to me after with what he found out. That was last week. $6 isn't a huge deal but it's the idea that as a customer, my order was screwed up, I was overcharged - they should fix it. They fell short and the owner not calling me back obviously shows he doesn't give a flying **.
Also, the pizza crust is hard. I get making a pizza crispy but this was beyond crispy.
Skip this place and stick with a chain. At least they care more when they mess up an order and aren't incompetent when it comes to...

Read moreWent in and ordered pizza and a calzone while we went grocery shopping. Grabbed our pizza and headed home. Got home and we got a personal cheese pizza, not a calzone. Called and the lady said that she misunderstood when she took our order and would have to charge us extra to fix it. Horrible customer service. Not our fault she took our order wrong but we still didn't get it fixed. Usually one of our favorite places to go but....not today. Not the normal people working the restaurant. Owners need some time off too but the service suffered for it. Next time I will check my order before I leave. This is the first time I have ever had an issue but not happy that they wouldn't resolve the issue.
Update to my original as I have been there multiple times now. I gave them a second chance and I enjoy this place. I was hoping it was just a bad staff member and it was.
