Rice and beans were all good. And I am a fan of Red and Green salsa. My wife had the Mermaid Wrap- spinach wrap with cilantro pesto rice, sliced cucumbers, and her favorite, seared ahi tuna rare with Cajun seasoning to make this meal delicious. She absolutely loved adding the avocado and pineapple mango salsa to her wrap. We will definitely return. We love our tacos, whether Mexican or Hawaiian. This food truck hit the spot just right after a nice trail hike by the beach. Highly recommend going here for a casual lunch. For me Nalu's is a great go to place. With all the things that have already or are changing its nice to know that Nalu's is still here and FABULOUS. I had another spine surgery in March and haven't been to Nalu's in awhile due to that. Today was my first day driving again and I was first in line at Nalu's for lunch. I bought my usual St Augustine Pier Right blackened fish tacos in flour tortillas substituting one with shrimp 😋 just devine. While I waiting, which is never a long time by the way, I heard " trigger fish " .I went back to the window and asked if I heard correctly. When the response was yes I had to order my dinner. Two soft shell tacos with that trigger fish. Yum, it smells soooooo good. I also have to mention that Nalu's owners/operators are the most pleasant and friendly people ALL the time. This is the only place we revisited from last year. The Baja and tropical ahi tuna tacos and the mermaid ahi tuna wrap were just too good to miss this year. The tuna is not overcooked nor over seasoned. It's perfect. The tuna flavor is remarkable! There are outside tables and the meals are served in to-go containers. The portions are plentiful. I would NEVER come to St Augustine, FL and not come here. They even give dehydrated tuna bites as healthy dog treats. Our dog is 8 years old and this is the only dog treat she has ever eaten. There's plenty of parking and picnic tables with umbrellas for your convenience. Plus it's roadside, on the way to the lighthouse. You would do yourself a great disservice if you come to St Augustine Beach and not try out...
