Service is excellent. Staff is very professional and friendly. Though is located in a humble area the tables are clean so are the restrooms and the employees do a great job. Reason of my 3 star rating. The food has the names of what it is supposed to be but the flavor is not even there at all. This is my second time of visit and I wanted to be fair trying to give it a second chance (to this place) but the perception remains the same. If you do not know about Peruvian cuisine, then there is no problem with the food since it tastes good. When it comes to the flavor, it is not authentic at all. Today I had what is supposed to be Peruvian Chinese fried rice. It was fried rice but did not have the particular flavor. In the past, I went with a friend for a business meeting and since we were looking for a local restaurant specialized in cuisine from Peru, we ended here. Then he had "green pasta (tallarin verde)" and I had "aji de gallina". The food was displayed on the plates in a professional manner. The flavor, not even close. It is like the example of someone saying that had true Chinese food and it was at P.F. Chang. I want to use this line so the owner takes it as a suggestion to correct what a customer considers to be an issue. My family is Peruvian and I myself lived there for one year. I consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to Peruvian food. No wonder in the two times being there I have not seen any Peruvian customers. Maybe it's a sign that the food is...
Read moreMy mom suggested this restaurant on my last visit to Naples. It was excellent!! The food was AMAZING!! the service, was great. Our waitress was very nice, fast, and competent. The food came came out quickly. The decor was cute. I read reviews where they said it was fast food, the food arrives fast, bit it's definitely not fast food. I had some oysters (I forgot the name) as an appetizer, which were out of this world!! My mom, sister and brother all got a type of ceviche (fish, mixed seafood) which were all really good too. Mine was my favorite though. Then, I ordered a grilled chicken breast and everyone at the table, was like really?? You're coming to Peruvian place and you're going to order that?? Well, yeah and when it came I had them all try it, and they couldn't believe how good it was. It was seasoned perfectly, super moist, and grilled with charcoal so had that nice smokey flavor. My brother had a chaufa rice with mixed seafood, which he loved. I tried it and it was really good, bit I still liked all of my dishes the best. Next time I'm in Naples I will...
Read moreThe most disappointing Mother’s Day dining experience. To order an appetizer and see it offered to the table next to you when they did not order it. The waitress leaves it for them anyways and then another waitress returns to take it to the back and bring it to your table immediately after. You NEVER get a drink refill or have anyone stop by your table to check on you except for the initial time they took your order. An hour and 10 minutes pass with the waitresses telling you your food is on the way out. Every single person in the restaurant received their food and you are the last table. They then argue with you it is because you ordered an appetizer and the food has to be prepared fresh. When the truth is they never put in your order because they forgot! Don’t lie. Be honest. We have a 6 week old baby and came to dinner for a special outing. You lack changing tables in your restrooms and proper accommodations for infants. You argue with your customers. Thank you. We now know better. We will...
