Nice N Easy Oyster Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Florida

It really pains me to give this place one star because the food that comes out is so good. This bar slash restaurant is clean the food is good and it has decent entertainment on the weekend.. major down side is the customer service that has been hugely inadequate.. as it being the only Oyster Bar in the area I either order out and pick up or like going to eat inside. However in the last two weeks I went two times in person to sit down and eat inside. On the first occasion the bartender couldn't seem to remember anybody's order and then there was an uncomfortable moment when the bartender was having an argument with the bar back. I figured it was an off-day and took my food to a table and ate.. is always the food was excellent, but the waitress who is also doubling as the bartender never came and check to see if I needed anything etc etc. I left a good tip regardless and decided I would give the place another shot in a few days, which I did. This time the owner's daughter and her coworker we're behind the bar and the service was the worst I've ever seen in the place. Instead of pouring drinks they're on their telephones, and several times while I was sitting there I observed people trying to get their attention to get a drink and we're simply ignored or overlooked. This was my first time coming into this establishment but I was recommended from a friend that they had good burgers and wings. So I thought I'd give it a try. I would have actually given it 5 stars but its at the end of the burger that lowered it and I'll explain in a minute. The burger was not a frozen patty and it was huge! I asked for everything but the kitchen sink on it and they definitely threw it on because I could barely hold it together. But it was super good, juicy and tasted fresh! I ordered chili cheese fries which were 'steak fries' and they gave you a super good portion size with lots of cheese and chili to curb my burger/fry craving for quite some time. By the way, I ordered this to go. The place was pretty darn busy for an early evening Thursday night (6:30 pm) and so it was loud, dark inside and the employees were very busy running around tending to their customers but I didn't have to wait too long at the bar to have some one ask me if I had been served. All in all, I would order from this establishment again. My only complaint and why they lost a star, I ordered the burger 'well done' and towards the end of eating it I noticed actual 'raw' parts that just kind of made me cringe a little. What a a great little find!

My coworker and I travel a lot for work. When we got into Orange City we were happy to find Nice N Easy Oyster bar just down the street from our hotel.

From the moment we walked through the door we had staff greeting us and were extremely attentive. As we told them this was our first time here they helped up explore their menu and recommend some great dishes. It was karaoke night and while the talent/place was rocking... the staff went above an beyond to ensure every table was satisfied.

I got one of their many burgers cooked to perfection. My coworker had the bacon, cheese and jalapenos oysters... damn they are good!

The next day we tried some other places in the area only to come back on Sunday sitting at the bar and hearing "same thing guys?"... great food, awesome atmosphere and hands down the best service I've experienced anywhere.
