Went here on a Friday night at 7pm. First the decor and atmosphere. 2 dart boards we could see, bar and stock of alcohol looks well maintained, wooden floors with wood tables, and an outdoor seating area as well. Staff including bar tender seemed to enjoy working here and interacted with the patrons. Overall I was happy with the restaraunts decor and interior. Now for the important part...the food. The menu breathes fresh air into a Irish pub. I can't tell you how many Irish pubs I have been into that is just Irish by name but the menu is blah, unoriginal and is more american than Irish. This is not the case for O'Toole's. Their menu screams of English and Irish food. My wife and I ordered the sampler, fish and chips and cottage pie. Sampler, (banger bites, chips, Gaelic egg rolls, and potato skins) came out how and fresh. The banger bites were great, and not just american sausage that the restaraunt calls bangers. If you have had bangers before you know! Egg rolls were hot, had a nice corned beef interior and tasty. The potato skins....well they were potato skins. It seemed off with how great the rest of the sampler was but they weren't bad. Being 100% nit picky I would have wanted something more unique than just potato skins which you can get anywhere. There is enough on this sampler for at least 2 people. Main course arrived and we were not disappointed. Oh you do get 3 choices of fries with ur fish and chips. The fish has crunchy and tasty and while not certain it appears it is hand battered. Either way the outside was crunchy and the inside was buttery and nice for the fish. The burnt Brussel sprouts on the lemon I assume were for garnish. I make pan fried Brussel sprouts and these were just too burnt to consume. But I am going with its an inedible garnish and didnt hold it against them. My only gripe and if you read all my reviews you will know, why don't you make your own fries?? As I said you get 3 choices of fries but they are frozen fries. Were they terrible? Not at all but I would pay an extra 50 cents plus for fresh fries. But that's just my personal preference. Wife got the cottage pie and it was wonderful. From the gravy, to the interior medly, to the garlic mash it was all great. We wanted to try their cheesecake but we were too stuffed to try it. Do yourself a favor and try this Irish Pub. It shows they care about their food and staff. My negatives are strictly nit picky things that most won't care about it but I would rather be honest on my preferences or how to take this wonderful place to an even better place.

**O'Toodles Irish Pub – A St. Patty's Day Blast!** My husband and I decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at O'Toodles Irish Pub this year (March 17, 2024), and it was an absolute blast! Despite the packed crowd (as you'd expect for such a festive day), the atmosphere was electric, and we didn't mind the hustle and bustle one bit since we had the day off to relax and enjoy. Even with the pub being full, we found seating easily, and the service was impressively quick. Our drinks arrived as soon as we sat down, and the energy of the place was fantastic. There were bagpipers, people dancing, and an authentic Irish vibe that made us feel like we were truly experiencing a bit of Ireland. We went all out with the food, ordering almost everything from the special St. Patty's Day menu. The shepherd's pie, sausages, cabbage, and potatoes were hearty and delicious. The corned beef hash was another highlight, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also couldn't resist the homemade potato chips with a dipping sauce—crispy, fresh, and addictive! To top it off, we indulged in a whiskey caramel cheesecake that was divine. For drinks, we had a classic Irish draught beer and some shots of Jameson, which we enjoyed outside in their event area. The outdoor setup was a fun extension of the pub, with raffle events, live music, and plenty of tables under tents to relax and avoid the Florida heat. The Irish-themed outfits worn by the staff added to the festive, authentic feel. Overall, O'Toodles was a fantastic choice for St. Patty's Day, and we can’t wait to go back. The lively atmosphere, great food, and friendly service made it a day to remember!

I was looking for a place with good food and a nice pub (as well)... I found it ! Located off of 60 in Brandon just west of Lithia Pinecrest and on the south side of the road. We went to another pub down the road and the patrons inside stated we needed to come here.. to O'Toole's. My son had the Doubling Duo sandwich, my daughter had their buffalo chicken pasta and I had their custom grilled cheese (two selections of cheese preference and then you can add on special goodness!).. oh we also had pretzel bites - BEER CHEESE equals DELICIOUS lol 😆 All the food was excellent. The sides of homemade potato chips and cheese fries were excellent. We all enjoyed our food and the portions were large enough to have leftovers. Atmosphere- we say outside on the deck. Several TV's to watch the lightning game (Go Lightning!) With fans and an outdoor bar/service area. Service was wonderful and accommodating. My only regret? - that my wife wasn't here to enjoy our outing... But we will be back. Please come out and support this wonderful place... And WHEN you have a good experience, leave your thoughts! ♥️♥️

My husband and I went here with our two young daughters, newborn and 4y/o. We were excited to returned b/c I had been be craving their Irish egg rolls after trying them for the first time following our initial visit to the restaurant after newly moving to the area. We sat down and waited. We waited for about 5 minutes at first, employees were walking by us, they knew we were there but never came over. There was 5 table max in the restaurant when we arrived there, including us, so they were not that busy when we arrived. I went up to the bar to ask for menus, 5 minutes later the bartender came to drop of menus and said she'll will be right back. 15-20 minutes went by, other tables had came in and she went over to them and they were taken care of before us. This whole time the bartender and rest of the staff would walk right by us to take care of other tables that came in after us, they would discuss our table and look over at our family as if to determine who was going to take the table with children, and each look on their faces was a "no" I'm not taking that table. I was so disappointment, we have a newborn and our window for dining out is very small and I was very thrilled to get out of the house, but it was a half an hour b4 our order was even taken, and by the time the food came we couldn't even enjoy ourselves and needed to wrap it up early b/c by then the baby started to get agitated and need to start heading home. Hard to even enjoy ur food when you are treated as an inconvenience to the staff. It really made me sad that b/c we had our babies with us we were looked as a lower priority. The inside bartender was the one who took other patrons before us, the waitress had no desire to take care of us and the outside bartender gave us a dirty look like, I don't have time to take care of them". Been in the industry myself for many years and this was not bad service due to them being overly busy, that I can always understand, this was a rude staff who prioritizes their guest based on who they think is going to benefit them best at the end of the day. I should not have to fear bad service every time I bring my babies with me to a restaurant. So thank you O'Tooles for ruining one of my very few outings I get these days and hopefully u will try harder next time to not discriminate against ur tables. EVERYONE deserves a good experience when spending their very hard earned money. I also tend to tip more when I bring my children out with us, I know they can make a but of a mess and want to compensate the staff for having to clean up after them, so next time u see a family don't automatically assume it's going to be a crappy table "tip wise". Only rude and discriminatory service can almost guarantee that. Sincerely, A tired mommy who just wanted a nice meal and quality time out of the house...

It's upsetting to notice that the owners do not read, or respond to anyone's reviews.

The owners and son were nice enough, and came to give my small dog a treat. The blonde waitress who originally served me was fantastic, then came her replacement, who was one of the worst waitresses I had ever experienced. Dark hair, looked Hispanic, I can mention that since I am from Hispanic decent. She seemed flustered, and not in a good mood to begin with, asked what I wanted, then rushed me when I was trying to remember the name of the fries I preferred, which was steak fries. She said per batum "can you please hurry up, we're busy".

The cook who it seemed to be, bought out my order, and utensils, was so so kind, and generous to offer some boneless chicken for my dog, and he loved them. I took a bite and they were really good.

Then when the waitress finally returned I asked for cocktail sauce (a lie), and she claimed they don't carry any, only tartar sauce, and again with an attitude. I had enough and asked her why the attitude?, it was just a question. She says, what attitude? I said the one you f'ing giving me for no reason. I stated it wasn't directed to her, but towards her attitude. Then she proceeded to use a few choice words herself.

She was just discusting.

I looked for one of the owners in side, and she came out, and asked to take my food home, and explained what happened. She said she will handle the situation, because that is how they can only get better. I also said the one who took my order should not be working in a public setting, if she is not able to.

Oh, and guess what.... the owner bought out cocktail sauce to me, and apologized for her behavior. Who should have apologized was the one who caused the problem in the first place for absolutely no reason.

While I was going through all this, another customer came in, and waited and waited and waited, and finally left when he saw the same waitress attending to other customers, and seeing him sitting at the bar, ignoring him, and still never came over.

Lazy is as lazy does.

If she is this way with a brand new customer, she's must be like this with everyone. To say I won't be back is an...
