We have ordered takeout from this Outback for over a year almost weekly with excellent service and our food prepared correctly. Where my extreme disappointment comes into play is our last two takeout deliveries. It was so different than all of our previous experiences that I question if they have new management. One of the best features of Outbackâs delivery service is the text messages you receive when your order is placed and when it is out for delivery. The past two deliveries have both taken over 45 minutes from the text message stating they are on the way (We live 15 minutes from the restaurant). The food has been overcooked and cold both times. When this happened the first time I actually called the restaurant thinking maybe the driver was lost and needed help finding our home. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude yelling the driver is on his way and hanging up. I assume they knew my order and history from my cell phone number. I know people have bad days but treating someone who has ordered weekly for almost a year, I would have expected better customer service. As part of our weekly tradition we ordered again tonight. I guess I thought the last delivery was just someoneâs bad day and we would not experience that type of service again. Tonight was yet again a waste of our money as the food (when it was finally delivered 50 minutes from the text) was cold and over cooked and literally thrown on our door step falling out of the bag. Needless to say this will be our last order from Outback and I will continue to warn others of the disappointing change in this Outback location. It is unfortunate but the cost of their food is too much for it to arrive late, cold...
Read moreWe had an unusual experience yesterday at the Outback Steakhouse, Sheldon Ave location. We had a reservation at 8 pm to celebrate my wife's birthday. Upon arrival, we're very welcomed and delighted by the friendliness and courtesy of the receptionist Mia. While waiting for our table, the server C. came to the hostess stand and started confronting Mia in a loud and rude way. That, in front of several customers, including us. Despite being verbally assaulted and humiliated, Mia was still very polite with this server and smiled again at customers, embarrassed. On top of that, we witnessed the same server being rude with Mia again because our table was right behind the hostess stand. When we were leaving, we found Mia in a corner, crying and shaking, embarrassed by the situation. We immediately called the manager JD and told him what we've watched since we arrived. We showed him that Mia couldn't keep working after being humiliated. He was very understanding, but we demanded an attitude from him because no employee can be mistreated by any customer, let alone another employee, especially in front of guests. I mentioned that I had been a restaurant manager at Texas de Brazil Steakhouse, and we would never allow such a thing to happen over there. It was not the best birthday celebration as we were upset by watching the injustice that the hostess suffered. We hope that with this, Outback can apologize to her and warn the server so that she does not repeat the same thing with other...

The food came out hotter than a cannonball mid-flight and tastier than a mermaidâs lullaby. Our server, Tessâaye, she was the true treasure of the night, tending to us landlubbers with the swiftness of a ship in full sail. Tess, lass, ye deserve a chest of doubloons fer yer service!
Now, letâs talk about that bread and cinnamon butterâit was pure gold, smoother than the finest rum from Tortuga. And the salad? Crisp as a sea breeze! Arrr, it had me thinkinâ the lettuce was harvested from Neptuneâs own garden.
Then came the Alice Chicken, juicy enough to shiver me timbers! Each bite was a mutiny against hunger itself. And what pirate feast be complete without a Blooming Onion? That beauty was hotter and crispier than a sailorâs sunburn after a day on the deck. It vanished faster than a treasure map in a storm!
The portions? Bigger than Blackbeardâs bounty! Ye best bring a crew to conquer the plates, lest ye be marooned with leftovers. And the staff? As friendly and helpful as a parrot guiding ye to buried treasure.
Outback Steakhouse be a port worth visiting again and again. So hoist yer appetite and set sail, matesâthis be a dining adventure ye wonât want to miss! Anchors aweigh, and pass me another bite oâ that...
