If I could rate Papa Luigi's any higher I would. I'll start from the beginning of my first time there. I walk in and the first thing I notice is how professional and well put of an establishment this is. Then the pizzaiolo (guy who makes the pizzas) is very kind and seems ecstatic to be working, and even though I was not there to pick up the three pizzas he first yelled at me for (also very kindly) I could tell he was very good with people and really seemed to enjoy his job. I proceed to place my order and the cashier is also very polite and kind, she then receives a call from a customer about a previous order. She hands the phone off to management and I listen to the interaction. Although the youngest one there, the young individual who was management displayed perfect features as to what management should act like. Even though the customer didnt call to complain, (I can't imagine anyone would after my experience), but to get the price off the receipt because she forgot it, he really knocked it out of the park with customer interaction. I place my order from their awesome menu and proceeded to take the kids home and come back to pick it up. Fast forward to pick up time and I walk in and the vibe in there is still awesome. The young lad from management grabs my items and hands them to me and is super kind again. Then, and this is what sealed the deal of never going to any other pizzeria in this area, after I get my food the pizzaiolo says instead of a medium pizza I made you a large because you came in here with a smile. This was truly showing how much they value their customers, even though I came in smiling because of our first interaction when I walked in and kept smiling because of everyone their and the atmosphere. I highly recommend any one that hasn't given this place a try to do so. You wont regret it. My wife and two toddlers and I never finish a large pizza. Needless to say we finished our pizza and could of eaten more. Not only is Papa Luigi's great in treating and dealing with customers but their food is top notch also with great pricing. Our pizza was cooked to perfection and our cheese knots were the best I've ever had. We will definitely be going back soon to try more items on their fantastic menu. Do yourself a favor and go to Papa Luigi's. Best pizzeria in the tri-county...
Read moreUsually I like them and I've ordered many calzones in The last few years.. but this is the first time I've gotten one since a new owner took over I'm not a fan there was so much alfredo sauce that it was no longer a calzone it was just a big messy half moon (the crusty covering is good, it's the filling the Ruined it) falls apart totally moist mess and not tasty at all . highly disappointed. I did call explained the problem thinking I got the wrong order only to be explained with attitude that's how they always make them umm..no cheese in it just Lots of runny alfredo sauce in a very thin dough wrapping that did not hold together and just ripped apart like a soggy piece of bread. ( btw took 4 calls before they answered )and all fairness they did say they would replace it but it's not worth my time to drive back after I've already spent an hour getting there and back + waiting. & $40 on pizza was mediocre at best + sad salad + calzone & tiny Good...
Read moreFor the ppl that expect a Rey’s pizza chain restaurant: go somewhere else.
Now, back to our experience. The place is in old town Florida very close to fanning springs. Needless to say, ITS A TINY TOWN, everything, every store is tiny. Theres no where to sit inside, but there’s sitting outside and you can also wait in your car. Positive mentally leads to positive experiences. The pizza was thin and crispy and all home made with fresh vegetables, no gmos or artificial colors and flavors like ANY other pizzeria we (outsiders) are used to. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE PIZZA and service. We were sad we didn’t get a second one that day and more to have on the drive down home to Miami. To whomever didn’t like his pizza: you don’t know anything...
