we phoned in our order for a large take and bake pizza and the gentleman that answered was somewhat rude and condescending, like we interrupted something he was doing. he reluctantly took our order but before giving us the total and other pertanent info, he simply handed the phone to another employee, TELLING the other employee that she NEEDED to handle "this". she read us back our order, which was correct, gave us the total and time it would be ready to pick up. when we arrived to get the pizza, the was 2 employees in the store, one man and one woman. the woman was making the pizzas and the gentleman was helping the one customer ahead of me. after she paid and walked away from the register, the gentleman at the register, looked at me and then turned and walked away, disappearing into the back for about 5 minutes. the woman making the pizzas apologized to me and said she would be right with me. I asked her to keep doing what she was doing and I was not in any rush. it was obvious that this happened more than once. when he returned, he asked if he could help me, I told him I was there to pick up a phoned in order and gave home my name. he walked, rather slowly, over to the rack where the woman was working and looked at the names on the pizzas in the rack. then walked back, rather slowly, over to the cash register and called my name out to the woman making the pizzas, telling her to bring my pizza to him. both she and I looked at him in awe, and she asked him, "what do you need?", he replied, with an authoritative strong voice, with only the name the order was under. the woman employee was still confused, rightfully so, as he literally just had my pizza in his hands and left it there seconds ago. he called out my order name one more time, even louder again before he finally walked the 5 steps back to the rack and got the pizza himself, dragging his feet and taking his time, finally tossing it on the counter in front of me and giving me the total of the order like he was waiting for payment. I informed him I had already paid and showed him the receipt he just gave me. he said, "oh yeah", turned and walked away. the woman employee, as hey as she was, took the time to make eye contact with me and cheerfully said, "have a great night, I hope you enjoy your pizza.". I told her that she must have made it because it looked fantastic and that I hope her night got better. I don't know how her night went, but she prepared the pizza very well, all the ingredients were evenly distributed and correct. she did an excellent job preparing the order. the gentleman employee was absolutely horrible and I feel for the woman employee and anyone else that has to work, or even just interact, with him. the pizza preparation gets 5 stars the customer service from the male employee is the reason why the 2...
Read morePizza is Great. But.............. I went in and a Tall guy, seemed to be owner by the way he talked, I guess he assumed I was stupid cause he talked to me that way. I ordered a couple $5 Fav's for the kids, and Us a Specialty Pizza. And he said to me that the $5 Fav's are going away. That it was because Quailityof the pizza. Well I'm no genius but they use same dough, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni on the $5 Favs as all other pizzas, just a smaller quantity. So why would it be a quality issue?????? Seems like Corprate Papa Murphys would not like him saying that??? In my eyes he just wants everyone to order the more expensive pizzas so he can make more money. So I go in last night and when I asked for a $5 Fav. They shuddered when they told me they don't sell them anymore. So I asked again and they told me no. So I bought 2 at menu price. Went home, went online, and it let me order $5 Favs at that location. So that tells me Corporate didn't approve his decision to take it off the menu. I use to praise these guys cause we like the pizza. But now you lost a customer and got someone who tells people not...
Read moreI haven't had Papa Murphys in well over a decade and every place I have lived hadn't had one. I had no idea what to eat for dinner and I pulled up into the Publix and lo and behold, a blast from the past was staring me right in the face. I walked in and the two employees came right out from the back and gave me a high five and asked how they could help me today. I was unsure of what I wanted and they gave me the rundown of every pizza combination imaginable. I ordered a chicken garlic pizza and they said would you like to upgrade from a medium to a large because it was the same price. VIP treatment. I took the large and as they prepared the pizza before my eyes, the employee was telling me all about the fresh ingredients. She said, "I'm pairing our fresh dough with our creamy garlic sauce and I'll be topping it with a delicious mozzarella, rotisserie chicken, and our garden ripe vegetables." I started to hit the griddy and the other employee was hyping me up. With pizza in hand, I stepped out of the door and found $5. Thank you Daddy Murphy's...
