Ordered a chicken cheesesteak with banana peppers and extra cheese for delivery. Order arrived quickly and was hot. I ate a few bites of the first half and realized it was extremely dry. I opened it up and found no cheese. I tried to open the second half and it was glued shut with cheese. I called them to complain and was informed āthatās not possibleā. I offered to bring it back because Iād only eaten half of the first half (2 to 3 bites) before finding the first half was missing all the cheese. She told me I could if I wanted. We also asked to speak to a manager on the phone and she said no, the manager wasnāt in and she didnāt know the next day she would be. Then she said she had a line of customers in front of her and had to hang up. Complaint was unresolved by a dismissive employee. So I drove the sandwich to the restaurant and opened it up on the counter and was met with āhalf of this half is already eatenā (thatās 1/4 of the sandwich). So they still refused to acknowledge that half of my sandwich was missing cheese. I responded with āif all the chicken was cooked and mixed with cheese then the rest of this half of the sandwich would have cheese on it, tooā. She said chicken doesnāt absorb the cheese as well as steak. All Iām hearing is excuses and defense of a poorly cooked chicken cheesesteak with extra cheese. Think about that. I ordered extra cheese and still half of my cheesesteak didnāt have cheese. And then I have to stand there in the restaurant arguing about a sandwich instead of being met with an apology or an offer to fix it? After a minute or two of disagreeing she finally slid it over the counter into the trash and said sheād make a new one. A different woman brought it out to me and said the cook put extra cheese on this one as though it was an extra nice touch for my trouble. Which would have been thoughtful and appreciated if I hadnāt already paid for extra cheese when I ordered the first time. And it was more like a pulled chicken sandwich instead of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to Philly's Best on Deltona and it was the most disgusting experience I've had . I ordered a Vegetarian Sub as advertised on the website. When I received my sub it was filled with meat. When we showed up to get the sub remade and explain to her that if I eat meat I will be sick. She then pulled the meat out and said this little piece and laughed at me. I explained to her there are multiple pieces of meat. She then told us she can't guarantee there won't be meat in a veggie sub . They made it very clear that they didn't want to remake the sub and next time I won't have it fixed . They also had children working the grill and sweeping which would explain the poor state of the store and food. She then tossed a remade sub at us and walked away . I then told her she needs to clean her store and she followed us out screaming and told us to never come back when we never even raised our voices at her. Absolutely disgusting. Lazy and unapologetic for their sloppy mistake. Richies cheesesteak is 1,000% better than this dump.
Edit* You'll hear clearly on the cameras audio how the employee said they can't guarantee that meat won't be mixed in our vegetarian meal. Basically that they are too lazy to put a pan on their grill to safely cook our food so its separated from meat items on the grill. Lazy lazy lazy, you couldn't care less about your customers and the quality. You only care about putting together low quality slop and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have ordered 4 or 5 times from the Andy Pella location in the last 2-3 weeks. I have always had the same order a 12" Sloppy no mushrooms and an Italian. This time I dealt with April and was told I couldn't order the Sloppy w/o mushrooms, I had to order a cheesesteak plus onion and marinara plus peppers. I stated everytime I ordered it there was no problem but not with April!!! So I arrived to pickup our sandwiches and I look at the receipt to see a cheesesteak rung up plus onion $.50 and marinara $.50. The total is exactly the same $9.00 but why make it a point to the customer that I can't order it the way I have done in the past? I paid with my card and left my usual tip 30% before I noticed how the sandwich was rung up. I said to April I have ordered this same sandwich 4 or 5 times in a few weeks and she informed me that was cannot be ordered that way. So I said if that is the way she wants to be it would be my last order and she said OK!! April showed ZERO Appreciation for the 30% Tip I left for her and she was just fine not having my business any longer. I am and have been a business owner for over 30 years and this is not how a business should treat a customer especially given the current state of the economy given Covid-19. BTW I checked 2 of my last receipts and the sandwiches were rung up The Sloppy no muchrooms so what was the problem? I will not do business with this company again given...
