UPDATE: THIS PLACE IS NOT DOG FRIENDLY And honestly, I don’t think it’s very people friendly either, at least not anymore. We’ve come here with our dogs before and had a great experience - and clearly several others have as well, based on prior reviews - which is how we ended up at this place the very first time we came here over a year ago. Tonight however, we were “greeted” on the back patio with a dirty look and the waitress that we’d asked about seating informed us - in the most unfriendly manner possible - that this place has never allowed dogs, only service animals. First of all, I get that not everyone likes dogs, but when you have an outdoor seating area that open and enormous it seems kind of stupid from a business perspective to disallow people who happen to be out and about with their pets to stop by and enjoy a meal outside - especially if there’s enough space to keep them well away from anyone else. Secondly, the waitress informed us that dogs have never been allowed on the patio - apparently the people working there the other times we’ve been there (and the times when all the other people who praised them in their reviews for being dog-friendly) - didn’t get the memo. Dog-UNfriendly status aside, there’s absolutely no excuse for being so rude to a potential customer, or even just another human being. Taking this place off my list of places to go and places to recommend.
Stopped in here for lunch with our two dogs - it doesn’t look like much from the outside but they have an awesome patio with fantastic water views. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Love that it was pet-friendly! They were very accommodating of our dogs and even found us a covered spot and helped us move when it suddenly started to rain. I had a rueben sandwich and it was delicious - perfectly grilled on marbled rye and loaded with corned beef - the fries were very crispy and well seasoned. So good!...
Read moreI had heard good things about this restaurant so we decided to go. We had a party of 6 and were told it would be about a 30 to 45 minute wait. After an hour and a half, we still did not have a table. The hostess was very rude and said she was still waiting on a table to fit us. We decided to walk into the bar and seat ourselves because there were open tables. Nobody came to our table for at least 10 minutes. We could see the bartender at the bar talking to people, but he just ignored us until we flagged him down. He said it was his first week in the bar but didn’t apologize for our wait. He took our drink order. It was not a difficult order but yet it still took 15 minutes just to get drinks. If we hadn’t asked for menus, we never would’ve gotten them. Once we finally flagged him down again and placed our order, we waited for over an hour to get our food. The food was terrible. My cheeseburger was chargrilled and dried out. The fries were cold. No one was happy with their meals. Our drinks were literally never refilled. He never apologized for the wait or for the horrible food. The music was so loud you couldn’t even talk to each other. I wanted to just walk out even before we got our food, but the rest of our party wanted to stay. Needless to say, we will never be going back here again. The only positive I thing I can say is that the atmosphere at the outside tables was nice. Right on the river. But inside in the bar area,...
Read moreI started going here when they opened up at the beginning of COVID. It was great to have an outdoor place. But when Tony left it went downhill fast!!! Sharon was rude and constantly lying to our group. We brought 10-20 people every time we came there. I finally got fed up and told Sharon I was “tired of being lied to”. (For example they would say they don’t take reservations and then would take reservations for other people…also she would say people told her things that were never said etc). Sharon didn’t like that I confronted her so she told me to leave and never come back. I called the owners and they apologized and said that that shouldn’t have happened. I am 65 years old and have NEVER been asked to leave an establishment so I didn’t return until today as I found out Sharon didn’t work there any more. I walked in and sat in my seat with my friends and within a few minutes I was asked to leave requested by Josh. When I asked to speak to Josh they said he wasn’t available. I told the server we were told we could come back but he said he was just following Josh’s instructions. I have never been so insulted in my life!!! This place has NO care for their customers…my friends all asked for their Checks and we had 12 of us go to Lou’s where they care about their...
