Pizza Connection — Restaurant in Florida

Well let's start with first impression First timer. The place seemed be nice and clean. Not big 12 tables at most small little strip center with at the end. Very close to a next door to public. I ordered for 12 inch pizzas. Different flamers to try order a pet sausage and onion. A pet sausage in mushroom peppin cheese pizza and a white pizza I got home. And check the water. It was only a cheese pizza, no. Pep on it, which is okay? People make mistakes. Very nice lady at the counter. Got my order got pretty good in a timely manner. About 2020 and 30 minutes. And I live about 10 miles away. Search, it's like a 20 mile round trip for me. Cause I had to take a home deed for the most part of all the beach places. I've had here and I tried a lot. This is by far the best I've had in for Myers, but it's not the best pizza I've ever had ever. That's by far the best pizza, right? It's just the better pizza I've had since. I've been here, but I'm on been here a year. When I drive 10 miles for it again. Oh, why not if I'm in a neighborhood? I wanted a pizza on the way home. Yeah, I probably stopped and grab one. But I won't go do a 20 mile trip for it. It's just, it's just ok. It's an okay pizza. The crust It's above Average., Now the sauce, it's also okay. It's not the best I've had.now the white pizza As plain as it is, I enjoyed it better and all the other pizzas. So I give them a better 3 and a 1/2 maybe 4 I don't know for food services top 9 but in general wrap up the only Complaint I. have. There's at the endof the day. They made one of my pizzas wrong. My husband and I love trying different pizza take-out and this was the first time ordering from Pizza Connection. When I picked up my order I was greeted by the young lady on the floor very nicely. I thought I had ordered a 16” but found I ordered a 20”. I laughed about it and asked if I could have a smaller box for left overs because I knew this box wasn’t going to fit in my refrigerator and it was just me and my husband so a couple pieces are sufficient. I was given a 10” box. 🙄 keep in mind they do not substitute ingredients so I had the green peppers removed but had to pay for the green olives which there was maybe a handful size, my hand, o them. The pizza looked and smelled good. It was a thin crust which we love and the sauce and cheese was the perfect amount.The toppings could have been been spread out a little more as the edges were pretty bare and the center was soggy and limp making the point bites doughy 😟 We had over 1/2 the pizza left so I had to bend the box up in order for the box to fit in the fridge. Hoping that reheating in the oven today for the game will give us a nice crisp crust. I will try them one more time with a smaller pizza and see if the results are different. Ordered a large meat lover's New York-style, an appetizer of buffalo shrimp, with a fountain drink, easy ice.

Soda was fairly standard, though a bit on the watered-down side, even with light ice. I'd hate to see normal ice.

Buffalo shrimp were very good. Buffalo sauce was basic (prolly either Texas Pete or Frank's Red Hot cut with butter), good bleu cheese, and nice sized shrimp.

The pizza... BRING SALT! First slice eaten with no adulterants, and still warm. Sauce has barely any flavours to it, meats are muted, cheese is bland, and crust was just a vehicle to convey the grease pile to my mouth. Even bites of just crust had no flavour profile. Second slice ate with parmesan shaken on. Little improvement, beyond another muted flavour adding to the mishmash. Third slice eaten with salt - finally tasted the sauce, for a few bites! Fourth (and final, before asking for the check), firt bite had everything on it, no adulterants - grease with a hint of Italian herbs. The rest of that slice ate with both salt and parm. A bit better. Meats were even dull in flavour when picked off and eaten alone.

Overall,pizza would have been good at 3/4 the price, but a $20 pizza should taste like a quality bit of food. $11 appetizer was the only thing giving this outing a...
