This place is awesome, if you go to Miami like a tourist like me and go to "famous" places to eat down 8th Street, Miami Beach or Downtown Miami, you found those places are ok, but you will notice no many Cubans go there. I found this place thanks to the manager of my hotel, I ask like any other was is the best place to eat in Miami..... she told me go straight is this place call Las Mercedes (she eats there for 20 years) This restaurant is for Cuban people, all bean are boil very early in the morning and that make a huge difference in flavor, the owner is very nice and we talk a lot every time I go there, prices are for working people when you go there you see a lot of blue collar people and they come and go all day.
