Pop's Subs — Restaurant in Florida

Im a Sub connoisseur. Philly cheese, Italian, Meatball, BBQ chicken... I love subs. But i judge subs on three criteria taste, size, price ( size to price ratio). Firstly taste wise this place nothing out of this world, the subs are small too compared with other sub shops and pricey considering the size you get. I cant recommend this place as its an insult to my intelligence when it comes to having a good tasting well sized sub that is tasty. Drops the ball in all three categories. I also read some of the reviews on here and im thinking all the praises are coming from the owner making his own reviews with friends / family... heck there are 3 reviewers from same family surname. coincidence? i think not. If you want to sell subs you need to price it accordingly and if you don't want to lower prices you need to make those subs bigger because for that i go to hungry bear, super subs, or best sub shop (heck even wawa!) for better quality, bigger size and cheaper. My first time here and I tried to order the Philly but they don’t have steak. I opted for the Pop’s Special but they don’t have Russian dressing. I went with the wicked roast beef and it’s a small, cold, basic sandwich… nothing special, not worth it. Don’t come here thinking you can sit for lunch. They have space for tables and chairs but don’t have any so I was forced to eat in my car. Employees said I could take my food to Starbucks and sit over there. I’m sure they wouldn’t appreciate that. I love a good sub and sandwich, but this place disappoints. Sorry to say unless there are changes, it won’t last.

I read some other reviews claiming these are great subs and after I saw what they are putting out I find it incredible that someone would say this. Publix subs are WAY better and cheaper. casolas, hungry bear, etc. I can name several places...

we ordered from them for the 1st and last time. Their sandwiches are very small compared to competitors and not worth the prices they charge. we ordered a steak sandwich the steak was very tough, there was no cheese on it, no may on as ordered and the topping left more to the imagination very skimpy. I was going was going to leave while watching them make the sandwich but I had already paid for it on line. We were vey disappointed needless to say I have tore up their menu at my office and will never order from them again. I only which I would have taken a picture of it to post for everyone to see.

So I have to say Subway is a much better bang for your buck and...
