I would give 0 stars if I could. Popeye's has delicious food but this location has always had terrible customer service. I know times are hard right now, but that doesn't excuse the absolute rudeness of the staff. My experience yesterday prompted me to write this review.
Order via mobile order for pickup at the drive-thru. When I got to the window they asked me to pull ahead and wait out front bc my order wasn't ready yet. I said OK that's fine, no problem! After 5 minutes an employee with a mean mug on her face brings my food. I realize she didn't bring my drinks. I ask for them politely and seem to inconvenience her by doing so. As she's inside I check my bag and realize the 4 different sauces I ordered (I wanted to try them all!) aren't there - I panic bc the employee was rude and I was afraid to ask.
The employee comes back out and says "you wanted Sierra Mist and Sweet Tea, right?" I say no I said Pepsi and Sweet Tea (nicely!). Don't you know this girl THROWS THE DRINK IN THE BUSHES, rolls her eyes, and then I had to tell her I needed my sauces too. She asks what kind and I confirm. She huffs inside, comes back out with my drink and only 2 sauces (one of which wasn't what I wanted!) - I decided not to fight that battle. I say THANK YOU SO MUCH, HAVE A GREAT DAY! And the employee says nothing.
I have never been so angry with an employee. After having a terrible day, Popeyes was supposed to be a nice treat and it was ruined. They need to hire some new team members here - no excuse for being rude. If you don't want to work at Popeye's, then take your awful attitude elsewhere....

This Conversation went on for 10 seconds before asking me for my order and when he took my order my order took 22 minutes to come out and I only ordered a shrimp basket and another order of shrimp. My First Oder was wrong and they didn’t put the chicken tenders in my basket. So I had to wait 5 minutes for that, the wait is CRAZY and unacceptable. I was late back to my job because my food wasn’t ready. I was on my lunch break and it took them 20 min to give me my FOOD. Once I GOT TO MY CAR TO SIP ON MY DRINK IT WAS disgusting, My surf and turf was nasty the chicken tenders were burnt and DRY, they put the wrong sides in each of my meals because I had two orders. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE, so save my life!!!! Read moreThe last two times we have visited Popeye's in Brandon, FL, our experience has been less than favorable. On a Sunday afternoon, around 4:00 PM the drive-thru took over 40 minutes, our biscuits were missing, no napkins, no silverware, (for mash potato sides), and our chicken was cold.
Tonight, we arrived at 9:06 PM. We drove out at 9:53 PM. Drive-Thru is soooo slow. Cars behind were honking, tried to check our order. Again, after driving away discovered that we were, once again, missing extra biscuits we ordered, and paid for.. Again, we were not given napkins
We ordered an original Chicken Sandwich Combo, (Includes: 1 side plus upsized to a large drink). The second meal was a 3 piece chicken tender meal (includes: 3 Tenders, with one side, and a combo drink). Ordered two additional biscuits, and our meal cost $26 dollars, plus change.
Appeared to be a new person on the cash register, and we believe we were way over-charged. Asked for a receipt and were told printer could not print a receipt.
We can eat at a sit-down restaurant for that price, plus a tip. Popeye's is really gouging customers with their pricing.
We would like a regional manager to contact us in regard to this matter. It concerns me when it comes to serving chicken that is cold/lukewarm. This restaurant used to be very good. Since restaurant was shut down, and reopened, the service and quality of food has really been impacted, in a negative manner.
