I like the restaurant and have visited several times, however, the service needs some tweaking. Customer service either makes, or breaks a business. The time that you step in the door is when your customer internal clock begins to calculate the time you will have to wait for your food. Too long of an estimate, and you take your service elsewhere. At this RC, you must order your food at the register, and pay at that time. Seating is open so you may choose your seat. There appeared to be only two women working, one being the cashier, and simultaneously, a waitress. Clearly, they know their particular job and therefore will not "take up the slack," for the other, since that would cause the other one to be delayed. Meanwhile, the customer suffers. It took about 25 minutes before coffee came to the table. The food I ordered, Pancakes, Sausage, and Eggs, came out about six minutes later, and was very good. With just a few changes like adding staff to shorten the delay in food prep and service, a little music to brighten the atmosphere, there's no reason this place, located off of busy NW 79th ST, and NW 27th Avenue, in Miami, should be packed around the clock.

I eat here often. I have only gotten the smothered pork chop or the chop steak. Both comes with grits and eggs. The only problem that I have besides them not answering the phone, is I have been charged three different prices for the chop steak. The first time I ever got it the lady asked me if I wanted it smothered with onions. I told her yes and my total was $9.62. The other two people after that told me it was an up charge although the first lady told me it was included. That feels really dishonest and it bothers me but I still go. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced.

This is the last Royal Castle left on the planet. Royal Castle is to South Florida what White Castle is to the Midwest. They made their first slider in 1938, and at its peak in the 1960's, there were over 150 locations, 40 of which were in South Florida. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 7, although I give the owner a 10 for keeping the last one open, terrazzo floors, and all. It's worth a visit for historical reasons alone. The sliders were cooked to order and served hot. Throw in a root beer for the full vintage experience.

Urgent contact Google explane in writing this is a totally new reestablished rebuilt from the ground up and you need all old reviews removed quickly. Explain in detail Time its Only been open! ((Now if you can try to contact one Johnny Goodwin. Invester that asked me 2 years ago about Royal Castle in particular. We both as kids loved Royal Castle quite possibly will be your go to man for Bucks!)) News flash miss Britney who ever that wrote the STUPID comment. Im not positive but i dint believe Black people eat Hamburgers perion. Never saw one at Burger King or McDonald's. Honestly now that im thinking about it. ROYAL CASTLE NEVER a black. Related restaurant, zero. NEVER. For decades I never even saw one Black customer In the 60s and 70s. There claim to fame are the sliders NOT breakfast a problem I'm afraid Chelsie got herself into. She made a Major Bo Bo with the location, and that worries me to no end as there's No Slider Hamburger that comes close to b one made EXACTLY CORRECT. If it was in my power to pick this restaurant up and move it to Ne 167th street or North Miami this discussion would Never be and Sliders is ALL she would be cooking period. Locating it in Nothing town was an expensive mistake Black's have no idea what there missing and it's not a GD breakfast. We bought sliders 30 at a time and heavy on those tiny onions. Hamburgers PERIOD. Did I say Hamburgers Only? If you have the funds Chelsie get the hell away from 79th Street somhow. NOW AND Bank Loan your way out. Why you chose this location is way beyond me. It's always been LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. When setting up. I wish I knew you last year. I'm preying for you sister no one loves those Holsum buns beef onions a MUST like myself. For what I know your investment definitely deserves a MOVE at any cost. Anytime anyone mentions Royal Castle ONLY those Hamburgers come to mind. Make adjustments focus On thecsliders and the warmer drawers ready cooked ones were there. Eliminate eggs and pancakes let IHOP deal with that. Only hundreds of sliders and Birch beer of course. Go in debt and arise a...

update 4/11/18

I went there this morning against my better judgement. I thought they had changed their staff or at least their attitudes. I was wrong. I asked for a large coffee and I was told they only come in one size. But they clearly had two sizes of Cups: one small and one large. I asked her to pour me a large please that I would pay extra. She said I would have to pay for two small cups I said that was fine. She handed me two small cups of coffee and I asked her if it was okay to just pour it nto a large one and she said no. She actually said no.

The owner of this place should be ashamed of himself for hiring such morons to get behind a counter and actually deal with the public. He or she must not care about his business. This is the absolute, hands down worst customer service I've ever seen in any establishment. Below.is my post from a year ago.

--

(The good: Slow, slow, slow, slow! I counted about 12 people behind the counter and I stood there for almost 10 min with no one even asking me If I needed anything.

The bad: some of the people that come in are a little scary. I had a crazy street guy on my right talking to himself and a really thug looking dude on my left.

The ugly: Attitude! So, at 7am they count their money at the register. They make you stand there for like 15 min. No one takes your order and the staff, numbering at least 10, just stands around. I asked them to at least take my order and I'll pay when they're done and all I got was attitude. The cashier actually refused to take my order unless I moved over about a foot and stood at the designated order spot. Mind you, it was empty...I was the only client in there. Really ridiculous 'service'.

This place would be great if they replaced their stupid cashier and got better organized. Today was the last straw. They lost...

I still Remember...

I remember the previous Royal Castle, that was location on 12490 NW 7th Ave. If i'm correct, which is now Finger Licking. The 77 bus, and Jitney would pass by right in front of the building. I never got the chance to dine in and experience the service. Since this royal castle is so convenient to my grandmothers house, I didn't want to procrastinate and miss out on the chance, and the experience. I came in around 11:24 pm on June 28, 2019, the moment I walked in I was greeted. I walked to my right theirs a cash register in which you have to place your order first, pay, then dine. James ended up taking my order gave me a few suggestions, and options on the menu. He recommended the pancakes, in which I ended up getting. The staff was very welcoming, I enjoyed the brief conversations which made me felt comfortable. The guys gave me great service, I ordered scrambled Eggs, the young gentle politely asked me how I wanted my eggs prepared either Scrambled hard, runny or Medium. The Food was fresh and hot. I enjoyed my tea, one of the gentleman went out of his was while preparing it stirring it for me and politely placing the teaspoon next to my plate. The following day I ended up coming back again for the Three pancakes that James recommended. Laverne, ended up taking my order. I'm happy I went out my way to try something new and different. Royal castle has been added to my go to breakfast spots, Thank you for the...
