I visited this taco stand when I worked as a TV Reporter. It was fantastic. On my recent visit, I discovered, things have gone downhill. First up...no sodas available. What? The machine was out of order. Next, only beef tacos. What? Next, unfriendly counter person. She asked me, do you want to add a tip? I felt that awkward moment when I felt obligated but also felt, what extra did I receive for the tip. I don't tip at McDonald's or Taco Bell. So why should I tip here? When she asked how much? I said oh well how about 10%. She looked puzzled so I said four dollars. Later, as I was examining my receipt I saw that a service charge had been added to my bill. So our bill was four dollars for the tip plus more for the service charge. I haven't even got to the food yet. My wife does not like cheese so I made sure to order her tacos without cheese. You can guess how they came. They were loaded with cheese. She had to pick it out of her taco meat. And I felt that my tacos lacked a certain amount of flavor.
I will not be returning to this establishment as it has lost my trust and I don't think their food...
Read moreFirst off don’t claim to be Mexican food, definitely not, so bye with the taco in a sombrero. Secondly, horrible service the girl obviously looked like she didn’t want to be there when she took our order hardly even spoke to us. Then when a coworker came in she bluntly expressed to her in the back how she really didn’t want to be there, like hi we can hear you. The food was microwaved, the rice was instant and smooshy & I know the reason why the salsa was foamy, same reason mines was it was well past the due date. Lucky I was curious of the taco truck across the street and ordered 2 tacos just in case, and it was a whole 360 over there the owner was so nice, he went down the menu and even gave us free samples for being new to the area. So if anyone was craving REAL MEXICAN food take a visit to the taco truck...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. From initially walking in I saw the woman in the back putting food in a microwave from out of a refrigerator. I should have walked out right then. I ordered an enchilada and what I got was nothing short of a disgrace. The person I was with also ordered a burrito that was pulled out of the fridge and put in the microwave in a styrofoam container. First of all, who microwaves food in a styrofoam container? The styrofoam container with my “enchilada” was melted on the bottom.
I didn’t even attempt to eat the enchilada because it looked like something pulled out of a trash can.
The person who was with me that ordered the burrito said the sour cream and lettuce were hot and the beef had no flavor and it gave them a stomach ache. This place needs to be shut down, how is it still...
