Taqueria Guanajuato — Restaurant in Florida

One of my favorite taco spots since moving to Ruskin with quality that hasn’t diminished for 2 years! The food tastes delicious and has something about it that has me coming back every time. Savory, spiced well, and not too oily which a lot of times, taco trucks seems to have soggy meat and tortillas. The service is always amazing, however the atmosphere is a bit outdated and there are bugs that want to eat your food as bad as you do. But they try mitigating this by having dunk buckets around the area. I can’t say I’ve ate there repeatedly on site, but the one time I did, it was an ok experience. Overall, this is a solid taco truck with friendly staff and a friendly vibe, great tacos with great service. A place I’ll keep coming back too, but not a place I’d drive 20+ minutes for (not a...

It's a little food truck. Very little. There are picnic tables under cover for seating. I was disappointed about the lingua tacos. They're nowhere as good as Lolis in Tampa, and one other place either in St. Pete or Bradenton. I forgot what's the other taco that I ordered. It wasn't memorable either.

Not only are they quick at serving tacos by having the tortillas warm already and the meat cooked ready to go, but the tacos are perfect. Being over an hour drive for me, I still had to stop because of their name. Guanajuato is the same area my parents grew up in, and the taste is exactly like home. You cannot get more authentic than this. Definitely stopping by again on my trips...
