The Kountry Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

First, I want to say don't worry about a little bit of waiting and if you only see one waitress that's only because that waitress is one of the best I've ever seen . She handled everything, through rush hour and made it look easy. So koodles to you Thursday morning waitress on our way to the Strawberry Festival. We ordered biscuits and gravy which were outstanding homemade biscuits and gravy the gravy was homemade and the biscuits are homemade the best I've eaten and many years. Hey look I'm from Florida I'm from the south and if you don't know how to make biscuits and gravy or grits I don't want to know you. So this restaurant was totally packed and we decided to split an order of biscuits and gravy because I thought they going to take it was going to take a longer time and that there was so many people in there that we'd be waiting a long time I really wasn't sure. Man was I disappointed I wasn't disappointed in the waitress I wasn't disappointed in the food I was disappointed because I didn't order a whole plate for myself. Sorry, thought things had changed. I cant rate the food, why? Got there at 6:15pm for the all u can eat fish fry. I orded our food, grupoer fish fry. After a while, I kept noticing others who had been there before me were being asked if they want there 2nd or 3rd dish of fish. I thought it might be because it was for catfish, since I ordered the grouper. Catfish or tilapia are the other choices. kept asking how long of a wait, kept being told not that long. It's now 7:05 PM, Finally I asked the people next to me if they were enjoying the grouper they were being served . They said, yes. their second serving and going for the third was to have been my first. So my first servings became their 2nd and third serving of grouper. R u for real! So you see I cant rate the food, but the service is HORRIBLE. I told them I was not very happy with what happened , while discussing this with the waitress she tells the cook to cancel the grouper fry order, my order, Hello!!!!! When I initially went there it was great. But my second visit left a lot to be desired. I went during a slow period after lunch. I was the first one in and three more people came in after me. They got their food and drink before I had time to order. They also finished and left before I did. I ordered a skillet with meats and the meats we're freezer burned. It looked amazing but tasted disgusting. This happens for several reasons. No proper rotation of the food in the freezer. Not properly sealing the product before putting it in the freezer Ordering too much product and storing it for too long. All of the above!!

When the food finally arrived after 30 minutes and a being delivered the wrong order, it looked decievingly delicious, but when I took my first bite it tasted bland and unappealing.
