ROACH IN MY TRAY!!!! Called the store and spoke to the manager and the only way I could get a refund is if I took the time to drive 20 minutes back to the store and show him this roach. This completely unacceptable and disgusting! I offered to send him pictures of the roach along with my receipt to issue me a refund which he then stated he wasn’t unable to because I oredered online through SALEMS WEBSITE. DoorDash will not refund because I didn’t order directly through them and it directs me to the store to receive a refund which I can’t get according to the manager. Ignore the spit on the side when I picked up my sandwich to take a bite I noticed the roach in my tray and spit it out immediately! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALEMS UNLESS YOU LIKE EATING ROACHES AND WASTING MONEY!!!! Update: MIND YOU the manager first response was we don’t have roaches and after FURTHER REVIEW on google there are SEVERAL COMPLAINTS about roaches and/or bugs found in ppls food ! I’ve read 3 so far !! One had it in her drink! Update x2 : I emailed marketing@salemsfresheats and they are working to investigate and resolve my issue! & I will NOT be driving back up to that nasty place as I told the manager. Hopefully my refund is issued and a mandatory CLEAN UP is required! Update 1/23 : they issued me a refund for the sandwich but not the other food I ordered. I guess they assumed after finding a roach in my tray I would still eat everything else. Idec anymore These people are ridiculous.

SHE WAS IN THE BACKGROUND YELLING BECAUSE THE MAN WALKED AWAY FROM THE WINDOW THINKING I WAS DONE BUT IF HE WOULD HAVE WAITED HE WOULD HAVE SEEN I WAS TRYING TO GIVE HIM MY SAUCE IN EXCHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT ONE SO BECAUSE HE WALKED OFF SHE GOT MAD BECAUSE I WAS HOLDING UP HER DRIVE THROUGH WHICH AT THAT POINT I DIDNT CARE YOU GONNA GIVE ME WHAT I ASK FOR. THEN I COME HOME MY FISH SOFT MY SHRIMP STUCK TOGETHER IT WAS HORRIBLE I COULDNT EVEN EAT ALL MY FOOD THE RICE AN BEANS WERE SEASONLESS IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH! Metal shred cooked on chicken wings. The reason I'm posting this, even though I got my money back is for two reasons. First reason is for awareness to check your chicken. He basically made it seem like I was making it up and he was doing me a favor for refunding my money. I asked if he needed me to show him again and he said "no." I would've liked for his response to include looking into it further to see where the metal shred came from since it was clearly cooked on, so something fell into the grease while the chicken was being cooked. My family and I won't be returning to this location.

Metal shred cooked on chicken wings. The reason I'm posting this, even though I got my money back is for two reasons. First reason is for awareness to check your chicken. The second reason is because the gentleman who handled the issue took no responsibility and even said he didn't see anything when I brought the food back, showing him the piece of chicken with the metal shard. He basically made it seem like I was making it up and he was doing me a favor for refunding my money. I asked if he needed me to show him again and he said "no." I would've liked for his response to include looking into it further to see where the metal shred came from since it was clearly cooked on, so something fell into the grease while the chicken was being cooked. My family and I won't be returning to this location.

First, I have visited the Brandon, FL location (903 W Brandon Blvd) several times, but unfortunately this time around was the worst experience I have ever had. If I could I would give a zero rating from my visit on 03/12/21 at 2:30pm. My husband placed an online order and paid online to be picked up by me since our baby was at home sleeping and we didn't want to bring him out due to Covid. When I arrived to the drive thru and provided my pick up order information, I was told that some man had picked up my order already. After explaining that no one should have picked up my order with out proper verification since I just arrived to the store, I was told several times in drive thru that my order was already picked up and that after speaking with the manager, they would not be able to refund my money or replace the order since it was already completed. I then explained that I was coming inside the restaurant to personally speak with the manager myself. I was not properly greeted by staff. I then asked for the manager. The manager came up to the counter and immediately tells me that she spoke with her employee and that some man had already came in to pick up my order without proper verification. I then tried to explain that myself nor my husband had picked up the order and then the Manager says out loud to her employee, "I don't think she heard me." Then, I tried to explain again with frustration at this point and the manager says I will walk out this store I don't have to deal with this today. Then, instead of acknowledging me, the manager walks away to the back. Still no apology. She still would not replace my order or provide me with a refund. I had been in the store in front by myself for 20 more minutes without any of the employees acknowledging my presence. I then asked for the managers name from an employee name Zion. She provided me with Nicole as the managers name, but told me that she did not know the managers last name. No one would tell me the managers last name. I was not provided with her last name. I felt totally disrespected and no one had apologized for the incident or offered to provide a refund or remake my order to show better customer service especially when I am a repeat customer. Finally, after being in the store for a hour, an employee comes up to me with a cup in her hand rolling her eyes hands me the cup and tells me that they are going to remake my order and walked off. I finally got my order 15 minutes after that and still no acknowledgement or apology from the manager Nicole. It is so unfortunate, but I will not be returning to...

I came into town and was a little late so all other places I wanted was closed so I decided against my better judgment to return back to this location for some Hot Wings, Jalapeño Poppers and a Strawberry Milkshake. The Wings were not Spicy Hot or Hot they were cold, the fries were soggy because I had the combo, I did not get the Jalapeño Poppers I got something Scallops and I don't eat Seafood and the Milkshake had my throat hurting, way too much syrup. The girl that took my order at first was polite but when we got to the ranch situation that's when the ugliness and attitude started coming out. I asked for an extra ranch and she said eighty something cents and I said nevermind but than looked in my bag and there was only one anyway when I made two separate orders with the Wings and Poppers, she went and asked another girl and the other girl said she put 2 packs in there, so than she comes back to me and tells me there was already 2 in the bag but she going to give me the other one anyway as if she was doing me a favor. I handed her the bag and told her she can look in the bag herself and tell me how many she see in there. I mean the ranch is not a big deal, I have a whole bottle in my fridge but since I paid for it I want what I paid for just like they charge for anything extra. She told me with an attitude she ain't got not time for that and I respond acknowledge I don't have time for her unprofessionalism and attitude. The first time I went to this location I had gotten food poison and now this. Horrible location and not recommended to anyone. The location on Hillsborough and 40th is so much better, go to that one. If you come to this one your coming at your own risk! Good luck people and por the employees at this location people get it together or find a job...

So I'm not gonna lie i Was very disappointed that i spent 42 for a fried shrimp dinner which supposedly came with 15 shrimp, i got 10, i also got a 10 piece lemon pepper wing, got 8 wings and had to add my own lemon pepper seasoning to lemon pepper wings ordered! Paid 1.30 for ranch extra ranch got 1 pack should have been 2! I'm in the industry i worked 14 hours today and i was craving salems and haven't eaten it over a year! And i was disappointed and felt like it was a waste of my money!! I know we are short staffed in the industry and im sorry for thisreview, i hope this review gives you good feedback and maybe as a team you all can work on being better and more efficient, communication, double checking, due diligence, building up one another!!! Maybe have some rewards for them as they perform above and beyond, a cut above! Just saying, acknowledging there hard work goes a long way, and if one messes up we have a coaching conversation to help them perform to their highest potential!! WE ALWAYS WANT to the best but we don't always perform at our best! But we always most of the time try to be the best! I'm not going to cuss or say anything nasty.. my feedback is be mindful, double check and be efficient, to make sure things are being executed from your whole team! Communicate and work towards being the best team possible! Hold each other accountable and coach one another, performance brings better pay! We can't please everyone but we can work towards being better, improving and providing a great guest experience and hopefully better pay for you all! Thank you be blessed! I hope a superior manger reads this! Do me a favor, high five your team and thank them for showing up to work and putting effort in AND THEM BEING...
