I recently visited saltys and had an outstanding experience thanks to our server / bartender, Amber . From the moment we sat down, Amber made us feel welcomed with a friendly smile and a great attitude.
She was incredibly knowledgeable about the drink menu and helped us choose the perfect cocktails to start our day. I ordered the Bahama mama and it was expertly crafted—refreshing and delicious! Amber took the time to explain the ingredients, which made the drink even more enjoyable.
What really impressed me was her ability to multitask while maintaining a personable connection with customers. Even during a busy rush, Amber made sure to check in on us, ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in her work.
The atmosphere at saltys was vibrant, but it was Ambers exceptional service that truly made the night special. I can’t wait to return and try more of her recommendations. If you’re looking for a great drink and even better service, be sure to ask...
Read moreNot very impressed. Hawaiian wrap came out without chicken. Sent it back and second time it came out without teriyaki sauce. Hubby's burger was perfectly cooked and he really liked it. Fries were super hot. Drinks were way over priced compared to other restaurants in Key Largo. $15/$17 vs $11/$13. Wings on the website say $1.00 each. Supposedly they went up "just" last week and are now $1.50 each. I asked if that was for the whole wing, describing both the 2 bone and one bone sections and was told yes. Wrong. Each half of the wing is $1.50. Waitress said they took of $10 for the inconvenience on the sandwich but it wasn't $10., it was only 10% so $4.00. We asked if they could turn on the fan above us outside as it was hot in the sun but they couldn't because it would hit the other fan, and the other fan smells like burning wires when turned on neither could be used so we toughed it out without fans. All in all, not a good experience. Plenty of other places to choose from...
Read moreI ordered the Big Boy Nachos with chicken and the Nachos came with what looked and tasted like Velveeta cheese, or a processed cheese that you squirt out of a bag. My wife ordered the Quesadillas and they came with what we think is real cheese…. It doesn’t make sense to use processed on the Nachos. If you want to be a real restaurant please get rid of the processed cheese and use the real deal.
The atmosphere is nice sitting outside, nice view of the water. Waitress was nice and did a good job. Parking was nice in the front, we were there on a not busy day. Bathrooms were ok…. Kinda strange having an open window and door in the men’s bathroom but ok…. Hit my head on the restaurant roof as I stepped on to the back deck. If you’re over 6’3” watch out. Basically the processed cheese is the worst...
