GO HERE! You could drive by this plaza over and over again and miss this hidden gem. Don't miss an opportunity to have a tremendous pizza that tastes straight out of some of the best places I've ever been too.
Me and a buddy looked it up and read the reviews and said let's give it a try. It's humble and small place with maybe 20 seats. Decorated with a Sicilian theme. But this is like being in an Italian family kitchen, your right where they make everything and it's cozy for sure.
We are sooo glad we went.
Knowing we wanted pizza, we ordered a large sausage with olives.
We also wanted to try something else, but nothing too much to nibble on while we waited for that pizza, so we asked for a side of meatballs.
The meatballs came out quicklyand we dug right in. Boom, These were amazing homemade meatballs in a savory sauce Gravy for my buddy who refuses to say sauce) (that we found out is literally made on site).
So rich and full of flavor, the only thing missing would be a bit of bread with to sop up that amazing gravy, we didn't want to waste that sauce on the plate after we devoured the meatballs. so good.
When the pizza was ready, we were thrilled, if it was half as good as the appetizer we would be sure we hit gold.
AND The pizza didn't disappoint! What a winner. Now I understand that pizza is subjective, so if you like a thin crust with a delicious sauce, homemade sausage (they told us they make it themselves on site) and a perfect amount of mozzarella then dusted with Romano cheese when it comes out of the oven, well your gonna love this pie. No joke one of the best pies in a long time, and btw the olive oil and savory brushed crust was so crispy and delicious, blew us away.
I wanted to try the grandma pie, but it will have to wait till next time. But there's no doubt that's gonna happen soon.
I don't have a bad thing to say about this very humble little place, try it and expect...

"This is the best plain slice we have gotten since coming to Florida in 2021" my daughter (3.5 years of looking)
We got a 16" plain and a 16" Supreme (olives, peppers, sausage) , right out of the oven, but into two boxes steaming away.... I feared would not be the best example of their food.......
As I drove home I thought of how great it would be to have a decent pizza place near the house we just bought?? We lived in New York/Long Island for 16 years until 2021 and I worked in NYC/Manhattan and been to Little Italy/lower Manhattan many times. Previous to that lived in Philly for 45 year and had pizza and genuine Italian food in around the 9th and Catherine Italian Market with places like Sarcones and Tony Luc. etc etc. I have had many fantastic pizza and my daughter and wife know what they like. We just have not found "the slice"!
.......................... well I got home and got the boxes open, torqued the oven up for warming just in case.....already had the table set....... and we dug in!!!
"THE SLICE" !!!!!
I met some guy who went to grade school in Venice, lived here his whole life, played football at Venice High in the 1970s...........he swears THIS is the pizza place he finally found and has been coming to for years - THE ONLY ONE.
I have to agree. We ARE going there to have a 'fresh' pie served tableside wiht out steaming boxes and getting cold etc etc.
I see this place and Big Mike's battling it out for 1st and 2nd, but based on my last visit to Big Mike and all their marketing spam and coupons I can never seem to use and all that shenanigans..... and the pie was NOT that good or inconsistent with the one we had weeks ago......
Sicilia Italian seems to have a simple and no frills way have having you back without gimmicks, or text message of online coupons and games........
MAKE GREAT ITALIAN FOOD AND KEEP IT...
Read more1 star doesn’t even do justice to how horrid our food was tonight. We ordered garlic knots with extra cheese, a gluten free pizza, and Buffalo wings. Holy moly was the food awful. The garlic knots were cold, burnt, and stuck to the tinfoil. We paid for extra cheese and it’s literally a tub of stuck on cheese and grease. The food was cold, the delivery said 45 minutes and it actually took 90+ minutes. It arrived in a wet paper bag of grease that was falling apart. The Buffalo wings were awful, cold, and tiny. We paid 12 dollars for 8 of the smallest wings you’ll ever see.
I will say that once the gluten free pizza was reheated under the broiler it was good. My son has celiac so his delivery options are limited. We’re glad his food was salvageable. I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. I will never consider this place again.
EDIT: I just read the reply from the business and it is full of inaccuracies. I did not call the store repeatedly as was stated - I didn't even call once - nor did you deliver the meal personally. It was delivered via HungerRush where we gave the driver a $10 cash tip - this was not the driver's fault by any stretch. HungerRush doesn't specify a tip amount pre-order, so we tipped cash. So swing and a miss for remembering this order from the first week of March.
The food was poorly prepared, cold (not lukewarm), burned, stuck to the pain, and overwhelmingly greasy. Blaming the customer with a reply full of inaccuracies is ridiculous. We ordered from you because we have a child with Celiac, so we do not have your implied "new relationship" with Little Caesar's pizza. Using Little Caesar's as an insult is low brow at best - they have nothing to do with...
