I'm going to give this place 5 stars, it was a delightful and hysterical experience. The food was delicious and the prices were great! The comedians were great! Thankful very little political discussion. We came here last night to celebrate a birthday. To be honest the front of the place needs a bit of sprucing up. I read the reviews and saw the pictures inside. When we pulled up, we were kind of like is this the right place? Located in a strip mall next to a gun shop. I think all four of us had the same thought. Once we walked inside the place looked nice. The outside bar area could also use a good cleaning/refresher but otherwise okay. I do recommend going to see the show, although probably don't get the dinner and show as that includes one menu item and pretty much most of the items are cheaper than the add on price for the dinner with the show tickets. You can also get dinner regardless if you buy the dinner package. All in all, I would go back. I think the business should reinvest in bringing the front to life and advertising. I was kind of surprised at the low turnout for such a great show and concept. A hidden gem that has so much more potential. Of course, everything is costly these days, but I think this place could get a great return on investment. I do think people would come, it's something different than just the regular bar scene, and something good for couples and groups to do. Good luck in your...
Read morePurchased 2 tickets for JJ Walker comedy show last night (5 May). We arrived early to eat dinner in the bar which costed about $50. When it was time to attend the comedy show we were told there was a 2 order minimum per person to attend the show. Ordered drinks and nachos which cost about $45. Show was supposed to start at 7:30pm. When it became 7:50pm, there were a total of only 5 attendees for the show and we're told we were just going to wait to start a little late. JJ Walker showed up at 7:30pm and noticed there were only 5 people and the snappers management said he was not doing the show. We paid $50 to see him. At about 7:50pm snappers manager said the show was being cancelled. We told him we came from Savannah, ga to see the show. The manager said we could come back for tomorrow's show. We told him we were leaving on Friday morning (6 May). We asked for our money back which he credited our card. In the end, we ended up paying $45 dollars for REQUIRED food purchase as management didn't comp us even given they cancelled the show. Total waste of time...
Read moreSnappers offers both food and entertainment. We've been a few times now. The comedy has been comparable to what we find at Side Splitters in Tampa. A couple of the comedians have been very memorable. The food is usually good, and the offerings are better than the simply snacks/bar food at most comedy clubs. The owner is usually visible and checks on customers. I almost gave a three star rating though. Tonight we ordered the Love Boat for Two. For sushi, it looked like a good deal. My wife had eaten their sushi before and had no issue. This evening the rice was off. Very mushy and a bit warm. Not sure I would order again with this in mind. The seared tuna and cucumber salad were quite delicious. When determining my rating, I took into account our previous visits. We've always brought friends and always enjoyed the entertainment. This was our first complaint with the food. Tip for non-smokers planning dinner and the comedy show, come early and dine in the comedy club. The main dining room doors open to the outside bar which brings...
