Update: Read the owner's reply. That tone should be enough to get a sense of their understanding of customer service. By the way, he never mentioned to us that they work with reservations only during the weekends. Reducing my rating to zero. Original review: I had a mixed experience here. Positives: The food tastes great. We ordered a mixed grill and I liked their beef gyro, lamb and chicken shish. Adana had too much pepper and spice and the chicken gyro did not taste good. They have a bakery next door which is nice if you want some sweets. The place seemed clean overall. Negatives: From the moment we walked in, we got a cold welcome due to table arrangement. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and all of their tables had at least 4 seating available and many tables were empty. The guy who met us told us to sit right next to the entrance and we said we would rather not sit next to the door people going in and out only two feet behind you. He insisted that those 2 tables on each side of the door were the only ones we could sit. We said why not those other tables, and he replied those are yet to be cleaned and made ready. We said that is fine, but he sounded as if he was not happy and told us to wait 5 min. There were at least 4 more tables ready but he didn't offer any of those to us. I thought maybe those were reserved but for the 1 hour+ time I spent there, no one came to sit in those tables. Long story short, we ended up waiting for a table to be cleaned and sat in the far corner. However, the conversation left a sour taste in our mouth. I was speaking in Turkish with the guy so there were no communication issues to blame. His attitude was rude by all standards of customer service. He acted like he didn't want a customer. Once the service began he tried to make it up by joking etc, but he had already failed with his first impression so we really didn't feel engaged. Another negative is their tables are really smaller than most restaurants I have been to. Once 3-4 dishes come, there is no place to put anything. I hate giving a low rating to small businesses but customer service is as important as your food when you are in a restaurant business. I am not sure if I...

Read moreThis new restaurant the food is very good. I would really be rating a 3.5 but rounded up to a 4. Here is a detailed description of this new restaurant.
We were not sure of their seating situation when we came with our party of 6 ( 4 kids, 2 adults). They asked if we have reservations since our party was over 4. We didn't and weren't really sure why they asked since it wasn't packed until we realized they had every table set up for a table of 4 seating. So if you have more than 4 in your party I would call ahead. They did end up putting 2 tables together for us but it seemed like they were not happy about it. We ordered with what seemed like maybe the manager/owner. After ordering and having our food delivered, we didn't have a single person stop by our table to ask if we needed anything. We had to get up and ask for boxes and our check and literally had no water left at our table. There were at least 3 other workers at the time but it seemed like the manager/owner was to only come to the table. So service a 2.5. Ambiance it is set up very nicely and the new bakery next door will be amazing too I'm sure. The problem is the size of the tables. They are very small and when ordering large trays of food there is literally no room at the table. The tables are not wide enough especially since they didn't even come back to the table to take away appetizer plates. Ambiance rated a 3. Now on to food, we started off with Grape leaves and hummus both were very good. We then ordered the Alaturka Mixed Grill which comes with rice, lamb, chicken, beef. We ordered the platter for four, it was enough for 6 of us plus have leftovers. Rating Food a 5. Overall rating again is a 3.5 for service. We may be back a little later after they have been open a while to see if...
