Truly Authentic Colombian Food! 🇨🇴 The owner and his wife and children run this place and make everything fresh to order. I usually come during breakfast. The owner makes the Arepas by hand daily with corn he hand grinds! The drinks are also made by hand fresh like the hot chocolate and Agua Fresca. This dining experience here is different than at American restaurants so if you’ve never had real Colombian food, you need to be patient. The drinks don’t all come out at once they come out as they are made and same with the food. Which is different for Americans as we expect fast everything all the time: so come when you have some time and bring your family to share the experience! They also do Uber eats and you can call ahead for pickup. I highly recommend this place! We’ve tried almost everything on the menu. If you have kids, they will love the bunelos and pan de bonos and hand made hot chocolate. The soup is huge too and filled with every meat you could think of. The arepas are very filling and have a generous portion of cheese with them. I am a vegetarian and I find the menu has lots of things for me. My favorite is the potato empanadas. They are so crispy and crunchy and filling. We always look forward to...
Read moreStepping into this Colombian restaurant felt like being transported straight to South America. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was alive with the sounds of Spanish music, setting the tone for an authentic and heartwarming experience.
The service was nothing short of exceptional. A member of the family that owns the restaurant personally attended to us, making us feel like honored guests in their home. This personalized touch added a warmth that’s rare to find these days.
The food was nothing less than spectacular. The sopa de mondongo was a highlight, instantly taking me back to my childhood—just like the one my mother used to make. Every bite was filled with nostalgia and comfort. The main courses were equally impressive, with flavors so rich and authentic, it felt as though we’d been whisked away to Colombia itself.
My wife and I were absolutely blown away by the entire experience. If we could, we’d dine here every single day. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a journey to South America, filled with love, tradition, and incredible food....
Read moreI truly believe the food at this place has the potential to be absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, we waited close to an hour for our food and then it came out cold. Most of it anyway. I think what happened is that all the food was done but it was waiting on one item and it all just sat while that item was made. The Yuca fries came out piping hot so I think that’s what happened. Maybe they forgot it so the order sat incomplete until someone noticed. Everything else was just slightly above room temperature. I’d estimate it had been sitting for about 15 - 20 minutes based on the temperature. Unfortunately this took away from the flavor and enjoyment of the food. I could tell the flavors were there, but food needs to be almost burn-your-mouth hot to be fully enjoyed. Especially seared meats, sausages, and chicharrón. Nobody wants to sit down to a cold meal. We would give the place a second chance, but unfortunately, based on this one experience, I can’t rate it higher...
