I was in the area for other business & walked over to buy water(not soda, as I am diabetic). I was treated as though I were a vagrant looking for free handouts & told to walk down the street if I wanted water. I even called my husband to ask if I looked homeless or especially bad that day since I was being spoken to as though I were trash. I never asked for free anything, I just don't drink soda & was thirsty. She did finally agree to let me have water if I paid for a soda. That will be the last $4 they get from me. My husband is now @ starbucks picking up my breakfast, so money was never an issue. And my husband is a food blogger, which means we eat out all the time, all over the U S. I really could not believe how poorly I was talked down to & treated. I will never know what their food is like, since their service is so deplorable! my husband never leaves negative reviews, which says a lot about how truly awful this experience was.

While visiting my Mother in Florida,we stopped in for a little breakfast. From the outside, the building doesn't look like much, dare I say sort of run down. Inside was ok. Well lit but sort of old looking. Was greeted upon entering and seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. She did return twice to check in and offer more drinks. I ordered the Dieter's Delight Egg White omelette. Containing spinach, tomatoes oinions I don't remember what else was inside. Also included was 4 slices of round ham steak. I ordered an additional side of potatoes. However when the waitress brought over our meal, she forgot the potatoes! I scooped some up from my Mother's plate. The flavor of the eggs with the veggies are worth going back for, soft hot and delicious. The ham and potatoes were very warm and cooked well with a perfect texture to both. I'd go back just because the meal was good. The price was about average.

First off the food was ok. The bad thing they don't tell you prices for any add-ons. Do don't mind paying for add-ons. I got the Meat Lovers Omelette and I added mushrooms, onion, and tomato. In no world I would think Mushrooms would be 3.01 Onions 1.66 and Tomatoes 1.99. and didn't get much of each of them in the omelette. I ask the waitress about the price and she said the don't tell The customer prices on add-ons and that the price of everything has gone up because of the stuff going on. I understand prices of went up a little but the chart of somebody almost half of what the amount cost for three vegetables is a little ridiculous. FYI-also the prices on the menu are cash prices not prices if you use your debit or credit card just to beware. We will not be back. So for two omelettes and two coffees and a cup of gravy it was $60 with tip.

First time eating at Southeast Eatery and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a breakfast spot before we left for home from Legoland. We pulled up and the parking lot was filled. We had a party of 5 and within minutes we were seated. Melissa was our server she was friendly and accomadating from start to finish. My son ordered the chocolate short stack and 2 giant pancakes cooked perfectly with loads of chocolate chips came to the table. My wife , mother-inlaw and daughter ordered the nutella stuffed french toast and we were all blown away. The outside of the French toast was golden brown and the inside was creamy and warm with nutella just ozzing out of it. Top with fresh house whipped cream it was some of the best French toast we ever had. I had a Greek breakfast burrito, the eggs were cooked to perfection and it was stuffed with spinach, tomatoes, feta and teziky it came with crispy home fries. This a place where all the locals eat and there is a good reason for that. So when you are up in Winter Haven Florida do not miss...

This has been the go to breakfast spot for my boyfriend and I for the past year since we moved from New Jersey. We come every Sunday after church and whenever we do there is always a little wait but the food makes it well worth it. With the exception of my experience today that has left a bad taste in our mouth and we won't be back. We were waiting in line to be seated for about 10 minutes and a group that just arrived were seated before us. An older man in their group went in front of my boyfriend and asked to be seated and they sat his party before us. It happened so fast we didn't know how to react, we were seated shortly after but our experience was ruined by how we were just blantly disregarded and disrespected. On top of everything they got my order wrong for the first time since we've been coming there and my boyfriend's coffee mug had lipstick on it. Very disappointed in today's service. Will have to find a new breakfast spot that is hopefully...
