I have been a customer of Skinfinity for awhile now (3 years) and it’s mostly been great. I’ve gotten my nose pierced here, and have gotten two tattoos that I love from, Brett. My recent visit to Skinfinity was a bit aggravating and caused me to take my business/next tattoo elsewhere.
Last Saturday (March 31st) I stopped by the shop to get a consultation from Brandon. We had been communicating on Facebook recently about a couple of tattoos that I’d like for him to do, he told me to stop in at anytime to see him and he’d give me some prices. I asked if I should call beforehand and he said no, just stop in and he would give me some prices. So I walk in and I am greeted by the newest woman that works the desk upfront (purple/blue hair?) I told here why I was there and that Brandon told me to stop by. Without going back and talking to Brandon, she told me that he was “busy at his workstation and cannot see you right now” but I could literally SEE him standing there through the cutout in the wall. I tried to explain that he told me to stop in but she persisted to tell me he could not talk to me for 5 minutes. SO, I took my business to Soldiers of Ink (who have a hilarious story of your staff making fake accounts to leave fake reviews for your sake) where Heath gave me a consultation WHILE HE WAS DOING A TATTOO, and had someone make an appointment for me.
Unfortunately for you all, I will be taking the rest of my business/tattoo ideas to Soldiers of Ink. Thanks for all your business over the last three years, hopefully you can resolve this problem w your...
Read moreI went into skinfinity after looking through some portfolios and really liked heather's art. I'm not amazingly familiar with what is expected or how tattooing works at the time so I thought I'd come into to discuss the idea I had and see who would be available to work with me. I went in asking if I could possibly talk to heather or if she would be open and I was immediately cut off with "she's known as the COLORBOMBER and she doesn't want you but we have other artists" I apologized thinking I had insulted the lady at the counter in some way. She then asked if I had a template for the tattoo I wanted, I then explained I'm unfamiliar with the culture and wanted to know if they made the art after paying or I needed to bring it myself. She was very surprised and almost seemed upset that I had no template and I told her I could draw it up myself as I'm confident in my art which I was laughed at as she covered her mouth to try and stop herself which made me just never want to come back here ever again. I excused myself and left. I've heard of people having good experiences here but I meant no harm and felt EXTREMELY...
Read moreI’ve gotten pierced here before and it was fantastic from another employee (fizzie) , but if I’m going to be openly honest never again. So update it got infected, after not even two days has passed, I got off work early, and had to get it removed. I should put out there, they literally told me it was lottery ticket because they messed up. So they re-needled what’s more frustrating I spent 101 dollars but on top of that what made it more uncomfortable and what made it so unprofessional is the fact they mentioned they pierced themselves, they lose piercings. But what’s even more discomforting is the fact they discuss the problem they caused In front of me, made it seem like it wasn’t important. They should’ve told me what was the issue, instead acting like it was normal.Does make you seem very unprofessional, Please do your research, before coming here it was terrible experience. Never again I’m not enter this establishment...
