January 23rd at 5:51pm I placed a mobile order as I was on my way to that location. I get there earlier than my order pickup time so I sat outside in the parking lot so they didn't feel like i was being impatient. While I was there a young lady was cleaning up outside and when she went in she locked the door behind her. I thought that was weird and thought maybe they just close the lobby for cleaning as there was no signage on the door and everything stated they closed at 8pm. So I decided to go through the drive-thru, but i got over to the drive-thru and there was a sign stating that they would be closed from 1/23 to 1/24. At this point I called them because there were visibly people in the store. A nice sounding person answered and informed me that the manager had decided the store needed to close early. Seems odd for a corporate store. They offered to transfer my order at no charge to a location 15 minutes away, but I just wanted a refund at that point because I chose the location I did for convenience, and that's the opposite direction of where I was going and I didn't want to drive back that far. She said that refunds aren't an option because of the way the app works and its not run by them (which is understandable). I asked if they could transfer it to the target location since that was closer and they said that they would call them and let them know that we would be coming by to pick it up. I get to target and the lady behind the counter seems lost even though she knew what I was talking about. She very grumpily made the order but made sure that I was aware that that shouldn't have happened and they shouldn't have made pickup there an option for me. Maybe turn off your ecommerce ordering system before you shut a store down so that customers don't have to drive around for a drink since refunds aren't readily available as an option. 3 stars because the staff is always friendly. But otherwise slightly annoyed by the situation and would have given less if i had never been to the...
Read moreToday I write this review to highlight the best and worst parts of this location.
The highlights of this location lay in the hands of the of the baristas.
To name a few of the stand out baristas. We have Ben; Ben is an afternoon shift lead, he is by far the best barista at the location. His skills behind the bar are second to none, and his interpersonal skill makes politicians look like socially inept infants. Next is Jacquie and Kara, for the sake of keeping this review to a respectable length, all that I'm going to say is that they are awesome and deserve just has much praise I've given Ben.
The Cons
The manager Lati is someone who is simply awful to be around, sitting in the lobby while Lati is on shift is truly something terrible. I can not tell you the amount of times I've seen (and got) her hostile behavior. I've seen on many occasions openly berating her employees while on the floor. It was sickening to see this happen as often as it did, not to mention her abundance of snide remarks she makes to employees and fellow customers alike. Lati's rein of terror is known by many local Starbucks baristas, I've heard multiple horror stories from almost every location in the area (even one from the Orlando airport location) id recommend reading other one star reviews to learn more about this.
To wrap this up, the store isn't that bad. Sure it perhaps has some troubled management, but at the end of the day its just a normal Starbucks. So why a one star review? I remember when Starbucks used to be a wholesome place to go to. But with management as troubled as it is... I just couldn't help but leave a one star review, nobody should ever have to go to a Starbucks stressed about who is working...
Read moreI have gone to Starbucks for a very long time and have never had an issue up until today. I usually order on my mobile App. I have a very specific order and by ordering it through the app it gets ordered correctly. 9 out of 10 times the person putting in my order enters it wrong and then I'm either that customer sending the order back or accepting an order that is not how I wanted. With that being said. I placed my mobile order and on my way there I had a straight shot. I missed every single red light. I was very rudely told by the girl on the speaker that next time I needed to wait 10 minutes after ordering. I was completely shocked with how I was just spoken to. There were 4 cars in front of me. Guess what... by the time I got to the window my 10 minutes was up. The boy at the window making small talk asked about my day. I told him it was great until I got there and was spoken to very rudely and made to feel like an inconvenience. Another girl who identified herself to me as the manager was equally as rude and defended her employee's rude comment to me then turned her back on me and told me to have a nice day. If you have a Manger in your store they really need to know how to speak to your customers. This whole thing could have been avoided had she changed her tone and words. She could have simply said "I'm sorry we just recieved your order and it's not quite ready yet. Do you mind waiting?" You really need to work on your customer services skills. I will never go back to this particular Starbucks. I will drive to...
