The drive-thru become slower and less efficient every time I visit. I was behind two cars, so how long could it be to get my order, 2 minutes? Wrong.
The first car was driven by a woman in some sort of enormous SUV. She was chatting on and on with the person behind the window, apologizing profusely. I couldn't hear enough to get detail, but either she knew this person in real life and was having a conversation about something she was very sorry for, or she had completely messed up her order which was now taking several minutes to remedy. If it was the latter, why couldn't she have been driven to one of the waiting spots so myself and the other cars growing in line behind me could have gotten through with our drinks?
Please note, this was approximately 8:30 on a weekday morning, so the line was full of people needing to get to work. She finally got four assorted things, stretched out over several minutes and went on her way. Then the next person pulled up and clearly wanted to have a conversation about the woman who had just left The Man behind the counter was unfailingly pleasant, however he indulged this for far too long. He should have apologized to handed her her drink and sent her on her way. My frappuccino, tasty is always, had already started to separate as it had clearly been made shortly after I ordered it and then sat around waiting for the soap opera in front of me to play out. It should have been remade, but I had already lost any extra time I had to get to work. Whoever is running this location needs to get their act together a little bit on the drive through. The people working it are always pleasant and polite, however they're sense of time...
Read moreThis was a sub par experience. I stood waiting several minutes before anyone greeted me. Someone finally said they would be with me. Another woman came in and waited as well. The drive thru cashier asked if we had been helped and apologized. Other than the woman and I, no one else was in the store. I ordered and used the restroom. Even If came out fine minutes later my drink wasn't ready. OK. Then it came. I waited for my food. The woman who came in behind me and the next person received their drinks and heated food. When I asked about mine, the cashier just put it in. I started to drink my beverage and the lid came off. My coffee from my caramel macchiato poured on to my white pants. I called the cashier at the window who was close, she was busy. I called the other servers, one was in the floor cleaning something, the other one looked at me and walked away. I called her again she turned around. I asked for a new lid, she handed one saying the lids were problematic and new ones were being manufactured. She asked if I wanted more napkins. I pointed to the dispenser in front of me.
Generally, the crew was not the standard I am accustomed to, especially as a forever Starbucks barista. There were dirty dishes in a bucket by the nearby full trash. Chairs in a disarray, dirty floor, table had crumbs on the floor and table. The baristas seemed more interested in socializing instead of cleaning and making sure the third place was clean and comfortable for whomever came in. Disappointing. Glad I was just passing through and that this is not my...
Read moreI have been throwing away drinks from this particular location for a while especially when bought in the evening. One time they gave me my dragon drink filled with foam more than half way. Other times no fruit, then no coconut milk… it’s always something… sorry but it’s not that hard to get a dragon drink right. Last night we got 3 drinks-all messed up. One was completely wrong, I asked them to make it right. Three younger girls working, laughing and giggling, knowing they are doing it wrong but still handing them out. Today I returned and brought my trenta dragon drink that had no coconut milk just mixed with water. Not only they refused to remake it, the tall skinny girl with long hair and tattoos was arguing with me telling me she was not going to re make it because I bought it last night and I had to drink it last night! Of course I told her I couldn’t drink it last night because it wasn’t made right. But she kept arguing. And FYI if it’s made right, I can drink it for 3 days in a row and it still tastes good. I wasn’t going to waste my time and left. Oh well… this particular location just lost about 10 customers because I was always buying for others as well. What’s interesting… literally all other locations get it right from the first try. And I am sorry, but each drink is $9 and if I keep throwing them away then what’s the point? I am just gonna go to other starbucks in the neighborhood. Shame on this type of service...
