There aren't many great restaurants in this area, but I've found Paradise Grill might be one of the exceptions based on my recent experience. I went in on this past Wednesday for dinner, and it was crowded due to the $5 burger special. My wife and I had trouble finding a hostess to seat us and we wanted to sit outside, so we went and sat at one of the tables outside at the end. We watched as multiple servers and employees passed us, noticed us, and proceeded to pay us no mind with their heads down looking at their computer screens. My wife was getting impatient, but then a young man named Brock came over to us with menus. It was very busy, and he went out of his way to greet us and promptly took our drink order, and even took the time to explain the burger special to us, as well as answering the questions my wife had about different entrees with insightful and genuine answers. I ended up getting the burger with the sweet potato fries (which were recommended by our server) and it was delicious! My wife had the Mahi Tacos, another recommendation, and they were even better. It was clear to us that the servers were all very busy, but our server Brock treated us like we were his only table. He was kind, intelligent, and very personable. I worked 30 years in restaurant management so I am not blown away easily!! It went from terrible (we were about to get up and leave before being greeted) to extraordinary. The food was delicious and tasted fresh, with great presentation. The young lady who brought the food was very kind. The music was terrific. The atmosphere was very inviting And aesthetically pleasing. And the service by our waiter Brock was nothing short of superb. I am so glad, because I don't think my family or myself would have came back if we had got up and left. But now we plan on coming back next Wednesday, hopefully with friends who we want to introduce Paradise Grille to! I am just very excited in the prospect that there is a restaurant close to our home that we can go to regularly and...

Read moreNever again will I eat here due to the extremely rude management staff! I joined some former co-workers/friends for a retirement party. We were seated outside at tables in the hot sun. While we were waiting for others to arrive, we sat at some tables out of the sun. Paul, the manager, kept coming over and telling us to move because they were reserved. We told him we we’re just getting out of the sun and would move when the other party arrived. We weren’t eating at the reserved tables, only having drinks. The other party arrived 1-1/2 hours after we did. I ordered the chicken early bird special for $11. I asked the waitress if I could substitute a salad for the veggies. She said sure. When I got the bill, I noticed I was charged $16 for the dinner and an open fee of $2. I asked the waitress about it and she got her manager. The manager, Gina, came over to me and told me they don’t substitute on the early bird meals so I had to pay the dinner price. I told her I was never informed of that. She then got snotty and loud and repeated that they don’t substitute on the early bird menu. I asked what the additional open fee of $2 was for and wondered if it was for water. She said, “Seriously? Give me a break! We don’t charge for water.” (I had previously been charged for water at another restaurant and told her that’s why I asked). She told me it was for the salad. I had also had two margaritas and was charged accordingly. In previous years, we had get togethers there once a month and were treated well. I don’t know what has changed, but I have never been to a restaurant where the management was so rude. There were over 20 of us and we are professional employees. We ordered food and drinks and didn’t get out of hand, but were treated like we were white trash. I will be contacting the owner of...
