I’ve been disappointed by this establishment so many times. Made a reservation for two earlier in the day only to be told upon arrival that we had no reservation. I asked if we could get an open table and I was told everything was booked even though many tables were empty. The hostess had the personality of a stump. Didn’t try to help or want to try and fix the reservation problem. We decided to sit at the bar and get a drink and a pizza only to be told that they didn’t have any pizza. The pizza dough was bad. Unbelievable!
Next visit, a friend and I finished a round of golf. Upon entry was told they didn’t have availability, even though the golf league we play in advertises to stop in for food and drink specials after the round. Of course, the same hostess with a personality of a stump doesn’t try to help. No availability even though we’re looking at three empty tables. Unbelievable!
Horrible, horrible,...
Read moreInside the Cimarrone Community is a new eatery called Stone & Barrel Taphouse. It is lovely with its wood made tables and accents, rustic look and of course, beautiful golf green views this place feels a mix of classic and comfort. The food is, well really great too! We enjoyed the V’s family classic salad with a great portion creamy burrata mozzarella cheese, prosciutto and heirloom tomatoes topped with a sweet fig balsamic dressing (we ordered ours on the side). We then ordered the “Birds and the Bees” sandwich. This heavenly bite is a fried chicken breast nestled in between Belgium waffles and has a brown sugar butter spread and maple syrup drizzle. This thing is AMAZING.. seriously… good. But suggest you split it as it’s also very filling! We added sweet potato fries and left very full and happy. Going back for happy hour and to try their wood fire pizzas...

We stood there at the hostess for nearly ten minutes, where all three employees were standing at the bar, one on the phone to the right - stared at us, said nothing, and acted like we didn’t exist while a small group of men were being served at the bar. Extremely rude and we decided to leave after being stared at by the hostess while we stood in front of the “please wait here for hostess” sign. Make it make sense.
Not a modicum of courtesy, acknowledgement or respect from this staff. They simply decided we weren’t worth their time, I suppose. Definitely pass on this place. There’s far more options that will take literally two seconds to greet you and treat you like your...
