For those that frequently visit Subway and expect quality service, AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. I did not have the luxury to do the drive-thru experience BUT I did the usual walk-in to check out the location since we were in a hurry. The atmosphere seems a bit gloomy and the product on display seem like they been there for days and no one seems to care. There is no sense of walking into a Subway, it almost feels like you are walking in into your near by 'Bodega' for a crappy ass sub.
Now to get to the service. We were not greeted (not that I really care) but the attitude is really what dealt it for me. The experienced "Yanet" seems to not really give a rats ass if she works for subway and just had a demeanor of "I want to go home, I hate subway but I don't mind making money chatting it up with my trainee", because apparently we had a non english speaking Trainee serving us. The trainee had no sense of hygiene when working with the gloves that she rubbed her eye while she made my sisters sandwich and toasted the tuna. As for Yanet, she decided to form a debate on proper procedure on how to warm up the Oven Roasted chicken patty. I mean if I am giving the "unsatisfied" "i am not sure that's the way" of making the sandwich, at least satisfy me as a customer and warm the patty in the microwave. Either way, the sandwiches came out alright but the quality of the vegetables (lettuce and green peppers) just seemed like the way a couple of days old.
There is no sense of urgency or quality from the personnel. I highly suggest a Subway regional manager send a mystery shopper on the weekends to try out the drive-thru as well as walk-in service so they can do something about the service. I don't wish them to be fired but they definitely need to be retrained or put to do something else.
For now, if you are a person that enjoys subway, AVOID THIS LOCATION...
Read moreCame in today to use a coupon I got in the mail a few day’s ago. I presented it upon arrival and the person making the sandwich verified what was included and got to work. When I get to the register the lady with broken English and attitude tells me she’s not able to honor the coupon because she doesn’t find it on the computer. I tell her I’m not in a hurry if she wants to call a manager to figure out how to input the deal. She tells me to either pay full price or not take the free chips or soda because she wasn’t going to bother the manager. I got upset with the attitude and left without my lunch. I later called the phone number at the store to ask who the manager is to talk to them later on about this, they refused and hung up the phone on me. I work 2 blocks away so I drove back to the store hoping the manager is in and to ask why they were being so nasty to me and hanging up the phone. I persisted only because of the reactions from the staff over a free chip and soda deal. It was the principle and not the money I was saving. It takes just a few bad apples to ruin a business. I feel awful for the owner of this store, I’m sure he doesn’t know...
Read moreTHERE IS NO BETTER SUBWAY ON THE PLANET! Today we ordered three footlongs on the new Garlic butter & cheese bread. OH MY LORD IN HEAVEN! The absolute best garlic bread I've ever had. That's saying a lot as I've eaten all around the world at some of the most awarded restaurants there are. Michillen star included. The sub came with a Herbert's lemonade! I brought it home blended it with some pineapple ice-cream and a dash of tajin! This subway makes my life easier. You think they didn't put enough of something? Just mention it and they'll add another handful and "forget" at the register. Its always service with a smile and the kindest staff you could possibly come across. Nothing is a big deal to them. The service is really a unique experience In itself. The true definition of service...
