I dined in last night at this restaurant and I would not recommend it. Save your money and go somewhere else. When we walked in the place was extremely full of families and it was very uncomfortable to walk through. To begin with, we walked up the front door and there was a homeless lady on the floor begging. If we were still in Covid, this would be a huge risk because there was over the capacity of people in one place. Once I sat down, our waiter gave us utensils and there was dirt on the knife and I immediately asked for a new one. I went over to the buffet and checked out the food and saw there was a variety of options but the food utensils were extremely dirty and some foods were mixed in with other foods. I tried the hibachi and the meats are all laid out in front of you. This was super unethical to have at a buffet and the person behind the grill should be in control of the meats and vegetables instead of the 20 families hovering over the food with their children. The sneeze guard needs to be redesign. I could not even take a piece of chicken from the hibachi area that was raw and frozen together. Not a good combo to have in food. The hibachi area where the man was grilling had black mold on the walls and there was a water leak on the floor. I saw the man take shrimp from the freezer and dump it in the hibachi area infront of people no utensils just a straight dump no gloves on. I tried to eat the food from the buffet and I can say some of the meat did not taste like meat. Once we paid, the waiter hovered on top of us to see how much tip we would write in and did not hand us our card until he saw it infront of us. I am saying this as someone who went to cooking school and know what a Safeserve certification is. We paid 30$ for the meal but again I do not recommend. The sushi was awful and did not have utensils at the...
Read moreWorst buffet, service & Food ever! Beware of the lady at the front seating people, she have nothing to do but stare at you when you eat which is super rude & very uncomfortable. We spot her just standing there watching us many times, and she didn’t even care that we saw her staring at us. She just kept going at it. Someone please get her out of there, poor lady is obviously in the wrong profession. Maybe get a security job or somethin.
TIPS BEWARE- VERY pushy with the tips, they will stare at you right as you sign your check and hover over you to tell you what to write and get the amount they wanted although their service sucks! We ended up giving 15% otherwise she won’t leave us alone so I warn you ahead of time. This is not voluntary, it is Mandatory or they will guilt trip you and it’s not going to end.
Food is very dry & hard and looks like it’s been sitting there for sometime. The peas & carrots in the fried rice were still cold! I mean, come on, how can anyone mess such an easy thing up!??!! We ended up wasting it and the fried chicken was super hard and cold. Major health violations for temperature control as the food warmers didn’t even keep the food warm. There’s plastic Saran Wrap around the serving spoons which I am assuming they don’t even wash them and just throw away the plastic wrapping when done so beware! Gross! We didn’t even touch any sushi because of how poorly the food was handled.
We were just hungry as we flew a very long flight to Miami and didn’t even care for how much it would cost, we just wanted to eat something. Though price is cheap, don’t waste your time on this place, go eat better food somewhere else and pay extra.
The only GOOD thing about all of this is we won’t be back and will never...
Read moreHonestly? Not impressed. Food was hot but sub-par, a lot of basic options (they don't even have all the typical foods you would see at a standard Chinese buffet) and I've been to A LOT of Chinese buffets. Not even vegetable/chicken egg rolls, only pork...no general tsos, stuffed mushrooms were not good and the hot and sour soup was very average. Had a lot of eggs but not a lot of mushrooms, tofu, etc. I've had better at other Chinese buffets. Lo Mein was pretty good, sushi was good, no kimchi. Dessert selection was minimal. Their hot seafood crab salad was good. When I was there mid-afternoon, it was kinda busy so I had to wait for some foods to be refilled. Service was not good, I had to literally walk around and ask to get a water refill from someone because my waitress only came once to pick up my plate. Then when it was time to pay, I couldn't find her once again so I walked til I found an employee to ask for the check and then he had to find my waitress only to pay at the front. Was confusing but oh well. Price was great! No fortune cookie! :(
TLDR: Food was sub-par, small selection to pick from, kinda busy, not the best service but the environment was nice, they have a cool fish tank and pond. Price is great. I didn't even get a fortune cookie, like come on! I probably wouldn't recommend this place if you want good...
