Sunset Delights — Restaurant in Florida

Was there at dusk. Only 2 customers came in after me. Not busy at all, still had 35 mins before closing when I arrived. Maybe they were in middle of doing closing procedures???? Waited 24 mins for steak and cheese sandwich and only got it that fast because i told them at 20 mins I wanted a refund if it wasn't out asap. I was getting eaten up by mosquitos waiting. Brought it home. Went to eat it. Veggies cooked nice. Bun/Bread nice. Meat, good amount but very very dry, almost no grease (steak and cheese Philly's should have some grease). The kicker???? NO CHEESE!!! THEY FORGOT TO PUT ON THE CHEESE! A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK WITH NO CHEESE. WORST $8 EVER SPENT. However on a plus side, we are usually very satisfied when we go there during the day. Burgers are juicy and delicious. Ice cream is always delicious. Staff is always friendly...

This is such a cute and cozy ice-cream place! They also serve a wide variety of foods. My son and I like to come here to spend quality time together sitting under the gazebo having whatever we've gotten to eat and our ice-cream for dessert just talking. The ladies that work here are very friendly and cheerful, and Miss Mary, the owner, we've known for almost 20 years, since she was the "cookie Mom" for my daughter's Girl Scouts troop, and you couldn't find a nicer woman! 😊 They have a huge variety of different flavors of ice-cream, along with a huge variety of different types of ice-cream treat's. I was so excited to go here... We live right down the road and had never tried it. We walked up, had to wait several minutes before anyone came to take our order, then got a few samples and they were good. Then sat down to grab a table in the shade. Almost a half hour later, when several people have ordered and received their cooked food (burgers etc) and we still haven't gotten our order of only cones, we walk up to tell them we want a refund. They don't ask why, don't apologize, don't even know how to do the refund, when we say what a ridiculous wait we had there is still no apology and we are still waiting to hear back about our refund. We would have been regular customers so...
